I don't see anything particularly strange about it.
People are here, they disappear and then come back, often with other nicknames or posing as men or women depending on the situation. What goes on in people's heads, well, that's really hard to understand.
Maybe he will come back, maybe with the same identity, maybe not. And he certainly won't be the last.

I have definitely had to step away at times for nearly doing of those things at times to varying degrees, especially over the last year when I started working from home 24/7 and being single. While I haven't deleted my account I do understand how that might be a step someone could feel the need to do to stay away.

That all being said I do really enjoy their tease. Its the first long term tease that has actually gotten me to stick with it for more than roughly a week, its been about 4 now.

Yeah, somehow you can probably get addicted to anything. I often feel however that some people get scared because it is related to sex and therefore think it is bad to invest a lot of time into it. If this site is all you do, sure, that's a problem. If you spent a large part of your free time making a large tease for this site for several weeks, I don't think it is. Nobody would rise an eyebrow when people spend that kind of time on watching TV, playing a new computer game or building their model train, not even if they prefer that to some (not all) social events they could be going to.

I suppose it's possible there are more estim users here than you think.

On the other hand, I know from previous experience with TOTM that there's either users here with multiple accounts they user for polluting the vote counts, or there's an exploitable bug in the voting system. Either way, really sucky that people feel the need to f-around like that.

The whole thing kinda soured me on creating and releasing any real teases -- just sorta focused on building tools for other authors from that point on -- though there seems to be very little expressed interest in much the geeky/coding stuff I build, so not sure how long I'll keep doing it. (Funny that people will take the time to tamper with votes and ratings, yet not to express support for another's work in a more constructive way.)

I can not understand how "Estim Maffia Property - JBK" is beating Ms Evans by a huge margin. That tease required an Estim device that most people don't have. Also they only have 19000 views Evans currently has almost 100,000 views. There must be a lot of fake votes.

You're right. And sorry if I fed into that in any way -- I didn't even look closely at the numbers before posting.

Looking over the numbers, I find it far more strange that Miss Evans has so many views and votes in such a short period of time than your tease being 10 points ahead in TOTM. We already know Miss Evans was rating bombed, and that likely threw those counts way off -- especially if it was done by some automated script. Also, I suspect some teases are rating spiked in the same way as others are bombed -- so for teases released before the ratings were locked to account holders, those numbers are basically meaningless.

That said, people also do mess around with the TOTM votes too, but please don't let that demotivate you like it did me.

It is a very well made tease. Yeah, it is only for estim users, but it is clearly stated in the title. So why would someone else even open it let alone vote?
Special interest teases can receive very high votes. I noticed hentai teases receive very high votes as well, even though it is a niche in pornography (a large one maybe, but still). I also do not see the point in voting down a tease that covers a topic you're not interested in. The rating should reflect how good a tease is if you are interested in what is promised by its title and description.

I have nothing to do with this, I hope they look in to it and sort it out. I dont care about a badge on the tease for an account i deleted anyway.

Also when i messgaed privately i did not accuse you of anything, i am on your side. Unless you were directing that comment at the other user and i have misunderstood this.

This is part of the reason i keep leaving. I enjoy making the teases but what comes after is just mental.

Please don't get me wrong. You seem like a good guy and Miss Evans is a large and good tease. I was just responding to some people who hinted at Maffia Property having been boosted up with votes and ratings from fake accounts. In the aftermath of that comment, Miss Evans got boosted up by 5 votes in the last 4 hours of the electron window, just in time to win the election by 1 vote. Although that is of course possible, it is also statistically extremely unlikely.

Congrats to JBK for winning the TOMT with a fantastic estim tease! Well deserved and I hope you continue to contribute to the estim community. :)

I agree that the last-minute swing seems very bizarre, given that you had the lead the entire month (minus the final 4 hours). Thankfully, it seems any voting irregularities were irrelevant due to the Miss Evan's not being associated with an active account.
