If we're following precedent, then this should be allowed right? Because there's a ton of forum discussion on the eos editor including how to download/re-upload/edit other authors' teases. But with passwords and monetized content... another slippery slope.

Given that all EOS teases are unavoidably open source given the design of the platform, I find it hard to consider a paywall much more than a polite fiction.

It is possible to lock some content (strings, functions, JavaScript objects, etc.) in a way that makes it pretty difficult for most, even seasoned developers, to unlock.

I suppose a vote on the subject could help clarify community position, but I know from past experience that there are, for lack of a better term, zombie accounts here that could be used to sway the vote one way or another. (I also know that people artificially manipulate the rating system -- and many teases have been attacked in such a way.)

I can see the issue from both sides, but I think those that are adamantly against freemium teases miss out on a key point: Imagine the tease published without the locked portion. Is that free portion a great contribution to the community on its own? Because, without the income from the locked portion, that author likely wouldn't have the incentive to release anything at all -- and I think that would be a net-loss for the community.

This is just a part of the password encryption code that Morexis is using.
Right now, its very easy to figure out unencrypted passwords in Eos, which make this type of script a necessity for pay-to-play passwords. A script like this, that was designed with the purpose of being as inaccessible as possible, effectually monopolizes the ability to create secure pay-to-play eos teases to those with a CS degree. Which is not cool.

It's the part where you seem to generalize from fully pay-to-play to partially pay-to-play that I don't understand, since those -haven't- been getting down-voted into oblivion.

Apart from drama, I want to give some feedback after I finished the Overwatch version.

If enabling CBT, there should be much higher chance of getting it, I'd go for 50/50 even. Whole game got it twice. I understand it's random, but when the task is "rolling", I see CBT option appearing once.
Continuing the CBT part, the tasks are super medicore and the timer is extremely long, like 30s to give yourself 8 slaps. It's kinda annoying to wait.
These "Stroke 50 times in 10s" tasks are stupid, sorry It's impossible to do it and it's just awkward quick stroking followed by "You look so hot stroking your cock" which is just wrong.
Moans are pretty good addition, but yeah, not much diversity here so after some edges it's more annoying than hot.
Photos used were kinda stale, since I played D.Va tease couple of times so I knew most of them
Precum part was wack too. Putting such short time limit on eating precum makes it much less enjoyable and more like a chore. Why would you want me to feel like I am in a hurry? It's supposed to be fun :D

Overall, I gave the tease 3/5 since I didn't have much fun, but there's a lot of potential. The black jack part is very cool, but it should be combined with fun tasks, not just linear strokes. Since there are different characters playing with the player, they should differ one from each other, e.g. first one would have only stroke tasks, but second one would be like 80/20 CBT, third one would involve some edging and tasks like change position or eat precum and final one could push some limits. Those are the things I came up with.

The default probability for cbt is probably lower than it should be for some -- I think it's around a 1 in 10 chance. Morexis can adjust this.

Personal taste. There's a rest button if you can't take it -- provided you don't need it too often. I suppose a setting could be added to lower maximum and minimum BPM.

... FapJack is meant to be relatively fast-paced. If you're allowed a free rest for too long, the original point of FapJack -- pushing the limits of your stamina -- becomes moot. 15 seconds, plus into and outro, seemed like a good medium.

You're seeing an unfortunate side-effect of a last-minute hack to silence the metronome that would have been there for CBT, since it uses the same penalty engine as stroke, so yes, 30 seconds (10 BPM, but silent) is too long -- but I also didn't think a metronome was such a terrible thing in CBT, so what do I know. I'll come up with a fix for it and Morexis can decide to implement it or not -- or could easily adjust it up to 19 BPM while still being silent.

Yeah, I could see how over use could get annoying. I haven't looked where Morexis put them.

Custom penalties, different probabilities per characters, each character given a different "voice" in game, etc. are all things Morexis could add and the core engine supports.

fapnip has already addressed all of your points individually but I just want to add that we're still working on most of those advanced features. Getting the game to where it is now already took a really long time, I didn't want to wait much longer for some minor elements. However, we're still making changes and improving those details, mainly the kink options, character individuality and the sound effects (which you can now disable if they annoy you).

I'm sure future versions of Hentai FapJack will be better than Hentai FapJack Hearts in its current form, particularly in those aspects you mentioned. And of course, those improvements on future Hentai FapJack parts will be added to this game as updates as well.

It's sad to hear that you didn't have much fun but I hope you'll find more pleasure in future Hentai FapJack games. As you said, there's a lot of potential.


P.S. I've changed the metronome for the CBT as fapnip suggested. It's still not perfect but the timers should be a bit shorter now.
