My first HFO was actually using VR. VR was new and super exciting at the time, and I was spending time trying to bend my body into the position the male actors were in to try to fit myself into the scene. I was then playing along with the video by using my hand in time with the actress. At some point in the video I had stopped moving my hand but my brain was still making the stroke happen in time, I think having spent time syncing up with it and trying to subconsciously do that maybe made some brain muscle memory maybe.

Either way as the girl was backing up on the person in VR I was like feeling a sort of phantom stroke, it was really wild, I just went with it and next thing I knew I was cumming without having been touching myself at all.
