Artificial (female) voices (text to speech) for teases.

Post by toohard »

Hello firends!
I have enjojed a lot of your teases during the time - but now its my time to make my contribution! I liked once the idea if robo mistress by masterstroke (example: https://milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=7740) who used TextToSpech instead of text for reading it. I Already found out that i can record spoken voices from text in TextEdit from OS X to iTunes and i have already experimentet with this on EOS.

Just before i go any further: Has anybody an idea of a different approach to use computer (female) voices in high quality to record them? Best is when having different type of voices. That is my basic idea.. i like the idea to have a female but artificial voice that spekaks exactly my words that i don't need to read and can concentrate on the other visuals that matter the most ;-)

Any clue ia appriciated :-)

Hope to deliver you something awesome soon

GuideMe allows you to use Text-To-Speech software to read the text of offline (downloaded) teases. It does this by just copying each page of text to the clipboard, and then your TTS software reads the clipboard. This doesn't work with EOS yet, but it's great for regular and Flash teases.

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but thought I would mention it. You don't necessarily have to record everything ahead of time if you don't want to.

Hi,

I just used the search button and found this reply. How do you get GuideMe to copy the text to the clipboard? What command do you use?

Thanks,

Peter

It is a checkbox under Application Preferences.
