Last night I ran into an issue where during speaking with the queen at the beginning there were no sound.. If is have to guess it was an eos issue since I couldn't reproduce it.

Because of this, it would be nice, if after the character creation I could save my character and start with that again..

Otherwise the world seems immersing and I did not run into any issue in the capital or in the graveyard so far.
But I'm not a big fan of AP use during moving, I traveled in the graveyard and I couldn't remember which way I came from, so I were running around and waiting for my AP to restore. So it is not necessarily an AP issue, more like a me issue, but..
Maybe a button to travel back to the previous location if possible (I assume there will be times when it doesn't)?
(Spamming this would bounce you between the last two location.)
Edit: Never mind, just realized there is a map... uppsss

I have done an intensive pain/pleasure testing, I hope other testers will too
I have a DIY Breeze audio system.
1rst test: 50% computer, 50% device
pleasure 25-35-45
pain 52.5-55-57.5
pleasure:
1-ok
2-a bit painfull, unpleasant
3-ok, but cant make someone cum
4-ok

pain files
1: seems ok, overall good file for pain
2: not painfull enough, even on high pain
3: way too painfull compared to the 3 others, even on low setting
4: not painfull, even pleasurable, this is the one used in dungeon

2nd test
computer 50%, device 30%
pleasure 40-50-60
pain 65-67.5-70
same result

3rd test
computer 30%
device 75%
pleasure 35-45-55
pain 60-62.5-65
same result

you need to adjust file 3 down, and file 2 and 4 up.
Just my opinion, hope others will give theirs with their devices.

the game itself is really good, I had a lot of fun, Id say you have a solid first 4-5 hours of gameplay.
you need to find a way to have people play a 1.5-2hours at a time and make them cum then.

So:
1- make the pleasure files a bigger challenge
2- adjust pain files as mentionned.
3- some quest rewards with cum round/cum session
4- longer punishment sessions for stealing/better dungeon session, with more pain.

other bugs/observation
the map in the sewers doesnt update, you need to rewrite everytime
ennemies dont use many more potions in 0.04 than 0.03
ennemies die too fast, they dont have time to use alot of strategy

I cant wait to play again!

I didn’t have an issue with the map not updating in the sewers (well). Are you sure you scrolled to the bottom of the map page each time? I would notice sometimes I would have to scroll down to see the most current map. Stupid question, but you are hitting generate map in settings each time as well too, right?

I didn't read through the whole thread so I might have missed it, but I was wondering when this will be available openly. I would love to play it sometime. I have a diy system if that matters.

ILuvPlanes208 wrote: Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:12 am I would like to see more options in calibrating the stim. Perhaps where you can type in the number you want it set (especially helpful currently with having to begin a new game every so often) As well as calibrating just pleasure and just pain without having to do both over again.

Perhaps I missed it but maybe a little easier to understand the weapons and spells. I made the mistake of trading a “mid-range” weapon in for a short ranger. Example: I have three weapons that I can only use in position 1 and one weapon I can use in 2 and 3. I’d like it a bit easier to understand this weapon is useable at range 1,2 and 3 and likewise. I still would like to see “slot #” changed. As there wouldn’t be confusion since you’re not currently fighting while deciding where to place the weapons.

When going to inventory and it giving a list and the corresponding number for the item and then clicking consumables and it now gives a different number for the items can throw me off a bit. Such as inventory 10. Chicken. ::clicks consumables:: 3. Chicken

Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see new areas available!
I've been pondering ideas for faster calibration for repeat players. Eventually I'll probably add a system that saves just the calibration separate from the main game file. Manually entering numbers may be convenient as well. I'll experiment with this after a few more updates.

The lists just number from 1 to whatever. A list of consumables will be shorter than a list of inventory items because not all inventory is consumable. I think a list that skips numbers may be too confusing. I'm not sure. Eventually I want to add filters for various things to viewing your inventory and shop offerings.

The range of the attack is listed as R#. R1 is melee, R2 is medium range, R3 is long range. Perhaps I'll drop the abbreviation and use the whole word. It is a good idea to have at least one ranged weapon. Keep in mind I'll be working on stored attacks soon so planning for different layouts will get easier soon. This won't really be an issue for low level characters though.

If you experienced no sound and it was not reproducible, it was probably lag/load related. The first pleasure file is over 7 minutes long and it could be possible that a lag spike caused the issue.

You can save the game at any time in the pre-alpha developer version that the all alpha testers have. Go to menu and then save and follow those directions. The real game will have save restrictions, but those are not yet set in stone.

The sound feedback will be useful, especially if I get get an average from many users. The main problem of course problem is that there are so many devices, electrodes and personal preferences. Calibration of every sound file would solve this, but that is likely untenable.

I may turn up the potion use a bit. I don't want normal enemies using them too much though. Elites and especially the bosses should use them a bit more often.

I haven't had an issue with the sewer not updating, but Chrome can sometimes lose the link between the console that opens in a separate window and the running script. Saving the game and reloading is the only way to reset that to my knowledge.

i'm guessing the reason noc hasn't opened this up to the broader community is because of the need to frequently update. Imagine the milovana users who love complaining, when there's 2 updates in a week and their saves are broken?

I wonder if there's a way to "clone" this for wider use, while the main game gets the pre-alpha edits and changes, further development, etc? That way you can keep working the minor changes and we can test the various parts that get added or updated, and the public version just gets major update periodically?

I bring it up because this is something likely bigger and better than anything else that's been put on the site to date.

played this a hew times now and its great, what we could do with more of it better images, there pretty tame and dont really flow with the type of game, also needs more selection and more images to run through. Maybe more with a domnintirx/hardcore theme for pain sessions, not some pretty blonde1!!

I have played for a bit now, and I'm realy loving it so far :D

I noticed that not all ravens are added to the map. I found two that wasnt shown on the map, but I did not explore the whole graveyard. I wrote down the coordinates for one of them: Graveyard X: -2 Y: -5 Z: 0

I find that the pain files are a bit varying. (I'm using a DIY stereostim setup) Some are painful, as intended, while some are just really strong files that push me way to close to the edge at several occasions.
For reference, the best painfiles I have found for my setup is from lolol2s Estim Tower. They give more of a "pounding" signal and I can turn them up to very painful levels without any edging issues.

Maybe implementing a way to try the different files during the calibration and turn them on or off would be cool.

The ravens not being marked may be because you loaded a save file from V0.03. Any locations that you visited in V0.03 won't be updated as the marker is set when you first visit a location and the marker was added in V0.04. Let me know if it happens in a fresh restart.

In the fine-tune process you can tinker with four real game pleasure files and four game pain files. Reporting those numbers and how they feel for various setups may be helpful.

The final game will hopefully have a hundred or so enemies, so there will likely be plenty of pictures. There will also be a brothel featuring 3 women with huge picture folders and special estim files designed to entice you to part ways with your gold. I do plan on having different types of pictures for the Psyons. They are stripped from your memory of old teases and start rather vanilla on purpose. Higher level Psyons will start to extract hardcore images (sex acts) and very high level Psyons will start to get into fetishes. The idea is that stronger Psyons can probe your "deeper desires" and this is hinted at in the intro.

The game is so far from completion at this point and saved games will frequently break as you suggest. I don't want most players experiencing the game as waves of content, as it will sort of ruin the experience. Perhaps once the game is in a beta state with most of the content complete, I'd consider publishing that. Not sure.

I'm having a fairly busy work week and so it is unlikely that I can work on V0.05 until next week. The focus of 0.05 will be adding stances to the battle engine and of course the enemy AI as well. I'll keep you posted. Until then, please continue to report and bugs (especially with the new potions) and typos.

Do you guys want me to explain how to use the cheat "console" commands and/or give any hints or spoilers for anything? It sounds like some people have gone through most of the content, but some other have only explored the southern graveyard from what I can tell.

Unfortunately, this was another very busy work week for me with no time to work on V0.05 which will implement the stance combat system. My work tends to come in bursts and thus my free time to work on the game also tends to come in bursts. I'll keep you posted. I'm eager to finalize the base of the combat system so I can get back to writing content and creating more zones, enemies, attacks and quests. Implementing stored attacks will be another top priority, but it will require a complicated alteration to the code. The silver lining to the delay is that your saved games haven't broken in a while lol.
