The other tool I sometimes use is Liquid's VideoSync app. If you're comfortable compiling your own code then it can look at a specific location in a video (i.e. the beat bar) and generate a beat whenever it changes to a certain colour. A bit more involved, but still much faster than doing it manually!

Regarding your questions, you got to use After Effects for the beatmeter. For that, I just followed this tutorial found in an old post. I personally have no idea how AE works honestly, but following the steps is easy with that video. I'm considering uploading a complete guide for begginers on creating a CH video some day, though there are people here who know a lot more than me. Until then, hope this helps.

To your second question, well... nope. I tend to focus on other SFW projects and only come back when I have the time and the mood for this. So don't expect anything in the near future, but who knows. Sorry!

Hang on, what tools did you use for the funscript conversion where you could do that within about 4 hours of the release? There are a few that I've been meaning to convert to funscripts(to make estim files), but I didn't know it could be done this quickly.

I used the funscript generator tool that I found here: http://www.realtouchscripts.com/viewtop ... =47&t=8546

It looks for spikes in the audio volume and uses them to work out where the beats are. It's tricky to use when you have to isolate the beats from the music and other audio, but extremely quick and easy when you've got a beats file to work with. Took about 5 minutes total - including the download and upload!

If I remember correctly, the settings were:
Fade in/out: 2 seconds
Sample rate: 22050 Hz
Frequency: 600,700,800
Expand to full range
Fade out during pauses/slow sections

These are pretty much my go-to for any funscript I'm converting. If I'm feeling fancy then I might edit the resulting mp3 file in Audacity, but usually I just play them as-is.

Round 5 is straight to the top of my list of best rounds ever.

Everything you want a softer video to be. Frustrating in all the right ways and a great ending. Just awesome work!

This is really top drawer stuff -- music, editing, content and the overall arc of the whole thing all just excellent. I also love CH's with prompts as I think it's an underused weapon in the make it really hard / horny -- the first use of the 5 beat overdrives was just epic and well worth all the "effort" to get to that point.

You just said... Canto III? Oh god I miss that saga. I enjoyed the first two chapters, but sadly it's been few years with no news about that saga.

I'm not sure I'd enjoy Canto as much as I did back in the day, because now I lean more towards teasing and softcore content, but I really enjoyed them back in the day with such an awesome video editing work and quality/resolution.

And yeah, I'm looking forward Soft Climax 3 as well!

I played Cock Hero Soft Climax 2 yesterday. Excellent production! In the first chapters I felt I should know these girls, but I didn't recognize them. On the later chapters, I recognized the Sport Illustrated Girls, but not necessarily the one we always see. Fun rounds. Things to criticize? Not much really. There's an excellent progression both visually, and on the beat meter. And when beats are simple to follow, I like the beat meter graphic to fade out. At times, though, especially during slow beats, we could hear a stroke beat sound right in between stroke beats. I was also surprised/amused by fast stroke sequences having a gap in it (like Yeah! Fast! ... What? Oh! Ok! ...). I was really impressed when I noticed a more complex stroke sequence (I think it was 5-1) exactly matching the song lyrics. That must be heaven for a creator. Taunts are cool throughout this production. Something odd were in between chapters, a black screen gap of different shades for a little while, as if all rounds had been rendered separately, then brutally copy/pasted together in the end to make one video.

My rating: Medium-Easy! It's a keeper!

The rhythm part is always tricky. I try not to oversaturate things and go easy on them rather than make it too complicated or difficult, especially being a softcore production. Same with taunts, I'll never know if they are in the right place, just in case it ends up being cringey xD

About the black screen between chapters... wow, you got an eye on that. Exactly, the whole project is built in an old laptop, which creates some technical issues in the process. One of them: I have to render everything separately, or my PC will explode otherwise.
