I downloaded everything and are very hopeful just out of the same reason.

But there is only one problem for me: Tease AI gets stuck so often while playing with Alice. I mean about 3 times in one hour. Sometimes typing "fix" helps, but sometimes not. And StrokeTaunts literally take 30-40 seconds to get displayed, because the program freezes.

Do only I have this problem or is it widely experienced?

Besides from that (and the alpha chastity system) it looks very, very nice!

There are settings for taunt intervals, in ranges I think (can't open TAI now).

When it freezes, does the metronome go silent or is it still going? Is there anything in the error logs?

Also, try to run tease.ai as administrator (right click and hit run as administrator).



On a side note, is there way to make Alice more often end the session by giving a task (as in denied + here's some stuff for you do until the next session)?

I mean, I'm really into that, and I'll happily expand the tasks files, but I just can't find a way to increase the odds of that happening.

If you edit the "Tease AI.exe.config" file there are logging settings. The main one is <add name="PoundClean" value="4"/> but there's also one for TxtCache. Changing the 4 to a 1 improved the delay a lot for me (slow hard disk!).

So, I've literally made an account to post how awesome this personality is.

Wicked tease felt too repetitive, Spicy bugged out for me, Fury was too degrading, and MissBlue eventually started busting into the dom mode every session, which became repetitive, and House of Tease never clicked with me.

But damn, I absolutely love Alice.

Many have such problems,... but not all,... in example me,... I have freezes for maximum 2 seconds and no other problems, ... it isn't a problem for me, ... I can play by just ignoring those freezes,... anyway, I will try to fix this, but I cannot promise a thing.

Besides from that (and the alpha chastity system) it looks very, very nice!

The task files which can be generated are boring to me,... of course it would be possible to add tasks (or a homework to do),... but I don't have enough really good ideas for it, ... I don't like these things like 'Do X Edges' or such,...
If you have good ideas, just keep them coming,... maybe I could implement it optional, ...

It sometimes happens that you stroke, stop, stroke again, that's intended that way ... but not for a whole session,... maybe a problem of TAI itself (line eating bug),... just try again, that cannot be a bug in the scripts since I run them for quite a while now without such a problem.

I haven't checked the error logs so far, but the program doesn't show me an error.

In Settings -> Debug: There you can find timers, which run frmo x second down to 0. Once the program freezes these timers stop. So 1 Taunt cycle actually gets multiplied by 4 or 5 because of that, which is quite annyoing. But this isn't only happening with Alice but with all other personalities as well.
It is somehow related to the amount of lines in the taunt.txt files. Alice has so much more lines than any other and the longest freeze times. MissBlue is a bit shorter and Fury has around 5-10 second freezes (which don't bother me at all).

I will try to run it as an admin and change the settings in the config file and report back.

Sorry for being pain in the ass , but i ran into a bug . Before i started the session i told the domme that i had orgasm outside the session
And now its stuck for 2 sessions says wait i have message and reschedule and add to my limit

Just to add to the existing bug reports and hopefully shed some light on the subject - the freezing problem as described is present rarely in the base version of TAI (A few seconds every few minutes, largely ignorable).

When you add any of the unofficial patch versions that I've tried, the freezing gets noticeably worse, with TAI locking up entirely several times a minute for a fairly long time and becoming entirely unusable at those points.

With the files provided in the first post here, TAI in its entirety is virtually unusable for me once a session gets going. I had attempted to time one of the freezes I got, but from the severity of whatever's causing them, the entire OS locked up and the clock stopped. After I'd realised that the clock had stopped and switched to a timer on my phone, over 14 minutes passed from that point before it became responsive again.
Installing the hotfix someone linked somewhere near the beginning of this thread helped a lot, but the freezes are still very much present, with freezes of 2-3 minutes happening between every other message from the domme or any time any media is loaded -- with MissBlue by itself on a different patch previously this hasn't been much of an issue, but one of the personalities seems to enjoy loading audio files of the domme "speaking" and may possibly be favouring gifs when choosing media (which seem to be worse than videos for locking the program up).

As for what happens during the freezes, initially everything seems normal. The metronome keeps going, but any visual elements will stop, including stuff as simple as the textbox cursor or the clock. Any input (clicks, typing - quite common throughout sessions when using lazy sub or just talking to the domme) turns TAI into the frosted window of death, but the program is entirely unresponsive and slowly brings everything else on the computer to unresponsiveness along with it. When (or if) it comes back, TAI doesn't seem to have realised that any time has passed, and modules run on to whatever time they were meant to but pretends that I hadn't been waiting 15 minutes for it to catch up. With the frequency and severity of the freezes it's easy for a single module to last over an hour.

This is especially bad on my laptop, which by today's standards is terrible (I upgraded it to 4GB RAM recently), where my significantly better main PC also has the intermittent freezing issues you say you experience yourself (but occasionally does lock up entirely).
If there's any logging or anything that can be done on my laptop, which I assume is a fairly extreme case of the issue and may make the issues more prominent, please let me know and I'll provide what I can, because the work you've done in combining the personalities is phenomenal (when I can use it!)

I strongly suspect the 'missing lines' problem isn't TeaseAI, but the scripts themselves.

Is the current patch source available somewhere?
I know about the GitHub repository, but I don't think it's the current patch.

I'd quite like to run it through the debugger so when it gets stuck I can actually see whether it's the program or the script. (Can likely fix either)

14 minutes,... of course that's not acceptable and makes it unplayable.
Well, the way TAI is designed code-wise,... it's a huge mess and needs some CPU power to work, ... maybe there should be a minimum system reqiurements info.
Can you post more infos about that system of your laptop (hardware components)?

For me, with this patch there is no more message in the program window (in the top left of the TAI window) that it's not responding.
There are still moments when TAI is busy, that's because it does a lot in that moment, ... but my most concern is that it gets playable.... I am really curious about your feedback on this, ... thx in advance for testing!

I've found a problem with it, ... it seems that it could happen that the pictures of the domme will not go to the next picture at some point,... will try to fix that tomorrow, then test it on my own and then the next day I guess there could be a new version to test out ... but I still would need more feedback on it, ... so still, if you don't mind to give it a try,... it's important to get feedback on it from as many people as possible to see if it's more a problem of someone's computer or the patch itself.

I am currently testing the new patch, and it seems to have made the problem worse. I load TAI and type a greeting, then the program goes unresponsive instantly. after waiting for 10 minutes I force quit TAI.

Using the beta patch:
Starting a session with Alice, I type Hi and it never comes up in chat. The program locked up, I have the swirly blue circle of doom and the "Not responding" in the top-left, and even 5 minutes later it was still frozen. Restarted and loaded an imported savestate from the other version.
Loaded in 24 seconds (which is fine), and since I saved on an edge point (the most stable since nothing's happening), she's waiting for a response as I load. I push the edge button, she reacts within around a second and tells me to stop. I click the Yes button, and TAI dies like it did when I said Hi. 5 minutes later, still nothing.

Added the folder location as an exception in my Antivirus (I already had with the previous patch), and it takes almost exactly a minute to respond to "Hi" (also pretty standard from what I recall). Domme responds to the general intro conversation virtually instantly. Typing "Yes Mistress" when she *isn't* actively anticipating a response caused the program to lock up for another 54/50/48/51 seconds each time I tested. When she is expecting one, it pretty consistently responds within a second or two, leading me to believe the biggest issue with the freezes is checking all the responses. Though loading the voice lines is also still freezing TAI where videos etc don't anymore to such a degree, as well as some random freezes mid-module that don't seem to be tied to anything I can find.

Haven't even bothered testing with the hotfix from earlier in the thread, as I hesitantly say that as long as I don't say anything without being spoken to, this is now mostly useable! Thanks!
That said, while the freezing is significantly less frequent now, the freezes when the domme checks how to respond are still pretty bad. Either way, huge improvements on my end!

2 - Get me pictures to play with - find X pictures from Y category which you really like and add them to images
3 - Find something for us to watch - get a new video that you really like and put it into videos (ideally under a certain name so it can be used next session for avoid the edge game or something like that)
4 - Read a story - read X stories from viewforum.php?f=18
5 - Participate in a game - play a round in a game you find in viewforum.php?f=22 (could be specific links for specific games since even many old games are still playable)
6 - Do a webstease - go to https://milovana.com/webteases/?start=### (dome randomly generates page number) , pick a tease from that page, and do that (with some upper time limit since some teases can be really long)
7 - Watch a video - watch X minutes of porn you like, no touching
8 - Watch a video actively - watch X minutes of porn you like, stroke 1 per second, no edging
9 - Do X strokes until next session, no edging, optionally in N batches of M strokes

More fixes, plus those from my previous posts:

• CRmar\marReward.txt expects the user to cum, but was only taking the done keyword.
• Doubled Images\selfhumiliation path (various files, first found by BlameGLaDOS)
• Vocabulary file typo in CRmar\restrictByContact.txt (found by dark0512)
• Typos and some things that made no gramatical sense in Stroke\GlitterTaunts_1.txt

Note that a bunch of stuff is missing from the GNMImages image folder, referred to by many of the fixed scripts & other files.
They probably won't work well / at all without the missing images, but the scripts are now correct.

These appear to be images from the Spicy beta.
By the looks of things, I *think* the contents of this file probably want to go into GNMImages
(note it's a 3gb file, some may well be irrelevant, I haven't checked...)

It's great to hear that some changes improved it, these are very good news!
I hope I can improve it some more, though.

The ideas I've had for that:
1 - Get me a new dress - find a new imageset of the me (domme), add it to her folder, fully tag it

Sorry, but this would be against how Alice is designed,...
As I said, tasks are boring,... and face it, when you want to run a session, in that moment you are up to it,... so you start a session and have fun,... but outside a session,... how often it happens that you are in the mood to do such tasks?
Alice allows you to touch yourself outside a session anyway...

As long as you don't give up complete control (a feature from HoT or Miss Blue, not sure)

Also there are many reasons why those points could be problematic, maybe you don't have the possibility to get new picture sets of the domme, stories would have to be pre-readed to make sure they are good and match the style of Alice, games and webteases would be like 99% out of the style Alice has, and watching videos and doing strokes are part of a session or can be done outside a session anyway.
Sorry again, but such tasks will not be implemented (btw.: there are some tasks, one of them would come only after it's 'unlocked'' ,... and the others are for when you get locked in chastity, ... but that chastity part is bugged till now, so maybe in the future there might be some tasks when you are locked up)
