What are players doing with this? Just picking one or the other? Especially well-endowed players using both hands?

The open interpretation is it's best attribute for the people who like the series. The same is confusing, frustrating, and a turn off to perhaps the majority of CH players because they want instruction and/or a simple, regular rhythm. I don't believe that most CH players are actually playing as in a game. I think they're treating it like JOI.

I don't stim, but approached that idea in the related thread because I do know enough about it, technically and conceptually. I traded some private messages about it, but the PM thread ended before the e-stim track author and I agreed on workflow. The short of that is I'm not going to publish audio tracks for e-stim because I don't use it so I can't test it. I could publish the Beatmeter Generator files so someone else can export the e-stim audio as needed. There's some work to be done to update most of the CH DW files to the e-stim-friendly template I use now, so I'm not doing it yet. I'm sure it will come along in time.

I guess I'm often in one of two modes; how far can I get before having to stop to avoid coming, vs how far can I get with coming being a losing-but-winning state (as in the early CH games). Those modes feel like games to me, and the more heavy-handed videos that pretend to be JOI from characters in the game are a bit of a turn-off.

I included the WAV files I made for Unprepared to show how to use the hold track beats from Beatmeter Generator. It's the included 41.204.wav tone cut or looped to span the distance from start-beat to stop-beat.

Always check your Beatmeter Generator export WAV in Audacity before running it through e-stim. Beatmeter Generator combines every beat sample at 1:1 dB. BMG prevents overlapping beats on separate tracks, but it doesn't prevent overlapping beat samples. If you use a beat sound that is longer than the distance between beats, they will overlap between the beats. The output waveform will spike in those spots. It might clip. I assume that would produce strongest possible current on the e-stim line.

It's not a strong belief. Maybe more a suspicion. Basing it on the popularity of simple pattern and no-meter CH. To judge further may not even be useful. I do know that the meter-per-hand thing crosses the line of too complicated sometimes.
