Best safe Cam-2-cam option?

COVID is making for some new creative challenges. F2F options for opportunistic pleasure are significantly diminished, for good reason, and will be for quite some time in the future.

So, for a great while, I had fun using KIK cam to cam, and Skype as well. In both cases, I was able to create an anonymous profile, pay nothing, and I had a place to meet folks and play privately. KIK video is no more, and keeping profile separate on Skype feels sketchy to me, given that I sometimes also have to use Skype for work.

I've broadcasted on Chaturbate, and had incredible fun there, but the bots that record shows and put them on other sites make it less safe for me, as I have to be very careful to never show my face. I feel less worried about this if I've built trust, and the other person or couple I'm camming with has the same level of risk.


Who has found a good solution that does not require the vulnerability above, or that of a credit-card for membership?

This is actually a really good question.

Signal messenger comes to mind in terms of security, but that only works for video on mobile and between someone you trust enough to share phone numbers with. So more an option for friends/couples/etc. than random meet ups.

For Chaturbate...some sort of mask is always a potential option. I feel that's easier for women to do without looking really cheesy though.

Discord has private calls with voice and video chat much like Skype. Its also easy to keep your accounts separated and everything is free. There's a subscription that allows slightly higher quality, but it's rarely noticeable. There's no end-to-end encryption, so technically it could be intercepted like most things on the internet, but beyond that it probably has the same vulnerabilities as Skype, but if you don't use it for anything else, there's no reason to fret.

These are good thoughts so far.... I guess all of us would have the criteria of anonymity being maintained, and not needing to give a credit card number to have access. What else might there be?

ALT.com was an interesting cam experience for me yesterday. I've had a free account there for a long time and went over to surf around. Decided to broadcast. Met some interesting folks pretty quickly, and had some fun. Imagine that one person who wanted to edge me... Yay! had never heard of Milovana! Boo!
I'm staying as a "free account there for now, but plan to see what kind of adventures I can have on cam there.
Has anyone had any experiences good or bad there?
Anything to beware of?
Any hacks to get best of what it has to offer?

Personally no, camming isn't really my type of scene. Being trans, I have a lot of body issues and self-esteem issues, so I don't show myself off very often. My ex and I had many fun voice sessions though.
