So, I said I would leave a review last week but I wasn't able to because I lost my first playthrough, which is pretty rare for me. Not to be arrogant, but in general, I've gotten pretty good at these. However, this was definitely your most difficult video so far and to mix it up, that was definitely fun. I also think it was on a technical editing level, your best one so far. You've kept the tradition of your other videos going of me being very familiar with three of the girls but being so impressed with the last one that I need to do research on her...

I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if it's not your fave. :) I might just stop doing the follow the melody sections altogether, though I've been trying to only put them in where there's a very obvious melody, and making sure the player has already heard the theme a few times before going to it. But that's still probably too much thinking in the heat of the moment.

And yes, finding new pornstars who have the full range of material from solo, les, BJs, etc. all the way up through gangbangs is tricky, though I still have a decent list of potentials. Good chance Adria Rae shows up in the next one. ;)

Just out of curiosity, which girl was the new one for you? I think Carter Cruise is my favorite in that lineup, since she really gets into it, and whether faking or not, she at least makes things look very real. If you find the Behind the Scenes footage for that HardX DP scene in there, it is super hot.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback! I'm already planning the next one, though there is a PMV contest on emp that I think I'm going to throw my hat into first. If I finish it in time, I might toss a beat track on it and release a CH short version of it too, though. :)

Ok so I just watched about 15 minutes of it and here's my feedback.

Content and editing-wise - amazing. When it comes to that, your videos are among the top CHs. No editing errors, content lines up well with the song and how the "intensity" ramps up as the video goes on. Also, great girl selection, they're one of my favorites.

However, even though all of that is great, to me it's yet another "play once, get angry and turn off to never play again", same as the previous ones. All because of the beats being overall much too complex and by "much" I mean MUCH. It came to the point that - being fresh after watching a video - it's a mix of disappointment and anger because it's yet another great video with a lot of work put into it ruined by overdoing the beats.

I don't know how to make my criticism most valuable so I'll simply list the moments in the video that I've had issues with. I'm not making this point to sound rude or to discourage you. It's quite opposite - I hope you'll keep on making great CHs but with much simplier beatmeter.

The sections that are a real turn-off to me are bolded and the ones that I find ok are not. All this is written down fresh after checking the video out for the first time so treat it as an opinion of a person who sees the video for the first time:

00:30-00:57 (27s) - 1-1 - nice, simple and doesn't change after 10s, good
00:57-01:04 (7s) - break - quite short but ok if it happens once in a round
01:04-01:10 (6s) - 1-1 slow - simple but too short
01:10-01:24 (14s) - 1-1 - simple pattern, minimum acceptable length that shouldn't happen too often (few longer patterns should come before and after)
01:24-01:26 (2s) - burst, then 1-1 - you really don't watch the content at that point but first are like "wtf burst is", then keep on watching the beatmeter to catch when the burst ends and "1-1" starts, then continue staring at the beatmeter to figure out whether the "burst then 1-1" happens again or if it's just back to 1-1. Only to figure out that it was a one time thing. First moment when you get annoyed that you've missed a portion of content.
01:26-01:49 (23s) - 1-1 - good, I wish all patterns should be around this long
01:49-02:01 (12s) - 1-1-123 - short-ish but acceptable
02:01-02:04 (3s) - break - break too short to be even a thing. By the time you raise your eyes from the beatmeter you need to go down again because another pattern is already coming
02:04-02:18 (14s) - 1-1 - simple pattern, minimum acceptable length that shouldn't happen too often (few longer patterns should come before and after)
02:18-02:33 (15s) - 123-1-1 - nice simple pattern but the duration is a bit on the short end again
02:33 -03:00 (27s) - double time - nice and long double time but I'd really prefer to not have those random breaks that last less than a second
03:00-03:15 (15s) - 12-12-1-2-3-4 - this was probably the tipping point for me. This pattern is much too complex, might as well call it with the vague "follow melody", as the description doesn't really help anyway. The way it went for me was this: the first time the pattern went through I didn't get it at all (I don't know this song as well) - that's about 3.5s lost watching only beats. Second time I tried but failed again on the 12-12 at the beginning being a bit irregular - that's another 3.5s lost. Third time I finally somewhat got the pattern while still closely staring at the beatmeter. At this point I was like "ok this is a complex pattern, it must be going for a long time and I finally started looking at the content. It went on one (and a *half*, just to be even more annoying) more time and then it ended. Out of the total 15s of the pattern, 2/3 of the time I was staring at the moving dots..
03:15-03:22 (7s) - break - somewhat short but ok if doesn't happen too often
03:22-03:35 (12s) - really show 1-1 - somewhat short but ok if doesn't happen too often
03:35-03:49 (14s) - 1-1 - somewhat short but ok if doesn't happen too often
03:49-04:03 (14s) - 123-1-1, then 1-1 - too complex, I'd LOVE it if it was just a simple 123-1-1. This one to me is an "annoying version of 123-1-1". It also goes on for TWO times, I mean come on.. On average you spend one cycle of the full pattern to get it, which in this case is 7s of staring at beatmeter, 7s of enjoying the content, then back to beatmeter.
04:03-04:16 (13s) - 1-1 - somewhat short but ok if doesn't happen too often
04:16-04:30 (14s) - 123--, then 1-1 - too complex and same as the one before 1-1, repeats a whopping two times before it changes again
04:30-04:43 (13s) - 123-1-1, then 1-1 - already mentioned above
04:43-04:50 (7s) - 1-1 - too short
04:50-04:55 (5s) - ramp up - what "ramp up" really means is the same as "follow the melody" and similar - you need to stare at the beatmeter to get it right. The last section is also too fast (I'd like to see someone doing a full up-down all the way at this pace), but that's not the point of my post.
04:57-05:10 (13s) - 123-1-1, then 1-1 - already mentioned above
05:10-05:24 (14s) - 7-7, then 1-1 - again too complex and confusing, need to stare through the whole pattern again (7s) to figure out whether it's 7-7 a few times then back to continuous 1-1 (which happened earlier in the video already) or whether it's repeating "7-7, then 1-1". Well, this time it's.. both! It plays once, then repeats once, then stops repeating and moves to 1-1. Another time when I wanted to throw something.

This keeps on going and going. Also when I was re-watching the video to write this post I've noticed some really hot moments in the video that I don't even remember from when I was originally playing it. That just shows how much beatmeter staring there really is.. If there was anything from all my talking it should be this: You can make the beats match the music really closely and not make an error - we get it. However it totally misses the point. After all, CHs are made to enjoy the content and not how well the beats match the music or who can change the patterns more often. In this case, less is more. You have patterns that play twice, patterns and breaks that last for 5-7 seconds, patterns that take a second to even read a description for and another 5-7s to get right only to find out it's going to change almost immediately.

TL;DR: Get rid of all "bursts", "follow the melody", "ramp up" and "x-x, then y-y". All of them. People are really going to appreciate it when they see a simple 7-7 pattern rather than some weird "7-7, then 1-1" kind of thing. Make absolutely shortest patterns last ~15s (few times a round max) with most patterns being over 20s. CHs are about staring at content and peeking at the beatmeter, not the opposite.

I think beat complexity is yet another variable where different people are going to have different tastes. I do tend to prefer simple, but I didn't find anything in the first ten minutes or so that was complicated enough for me to get frustrated at it. To each their own!

No worries about discouraging me. I work as a content creator in the entertainment industry, so I've got thick skin. I've seen some doozies of reviews about my stuff. ;) As long as it's mostly positive across a population, then I'm good. No one can make perfect content for everyone.

That's some really detailed feedback, and I super appreciate it. A lot of this I think comes down to preferences. Personally, I've always enjoyed the more complicated cock heroes, since it makes it a game to me as part of the challenge, and that's sort of how I approach my productions as well. It's Guitar Hero for your cock, right? :) I'm also a quick reader, and I sight read music, which I think are skills that translate well too.

That said, I've thought about making a simpler beats version of each of my videos, to see what people prefer. Honestly, it shouldn't take much more than an evening or two to do. The hard part is the video editing and sound mixing, and those are already done. Maybe once I'm done with the PMV I've got due by the end of the month. Perhaps that will appeal more to those who don't enjoy my usual style. Based on feedback, however, there are obviously many who enjoy the more hectic style too, so I'll keep making those as well.

I have done several playthroughs of each of my videos before releasing them, so they are definitely doable, but I do have the advantage of knowing the content already, and a really strong right arm. ;)

Off the top of my head, AJ Applegate has done every category you usually include if you're into a whole lot of booty and I wouldn't mind seeing her. That said, please only take any suggestions if it's content that you like. I don't want to see any creators I like burned out because they're working with content that they don't care for.

The reason it didn't end up being my favorite of yours is purely down to the lineup, and because my absolute favorites you've already done so don't feel bad about it. There's nothing you could have done differently in that regard Like I said in my initial review, on a technical level, you've just gotten better!

One other thing I wanted to mention in my initial review that I forgot to was that I appreciate the level of detail of putting in songs that correspond to the action that's happening on the screen most of the time. It's a level of polish that really shines through imo.

I know it's months away, but I do look forward to that next release you're planning whenever it may be!

AJ Applegate is definitely on my list of possibles. I'm a sucker for pretty smiles, which is one of the things I love about Avi Love. And stars who actually look like they're having a good time. I just came across Alita Angel, who does some pretty damn dirty stuff and laughs through it all, but I don't think she has enough and varied enough content to work for my style.

Appreciate the feedback. It's difficult to make everyone happy. In earlier productions, people complained that you could not hear the beat sound or the stars well enough. ;) Thanks for giving it a go, though.

@3xTripleXXX I love all of your videos. Fuck Hard Cum Harder popped up in a search here so I gave it a shot. It was so well done, that I sought out all of your other videos. I can tell that you put good thought into all parts of your video making process and it truly pays off.

I really appreciate your music choices. I like how you line up the music and clips so they build off of each other. I like how you work the beats to the music with a fair number of ramp ups. I am not personally a fan of long repetitive beats in these videos, so your clever and frequently changing beats are perfect. I really like how you will mix rhythmic beat sections with sections that go to the music. It's the perfect mix up to keep us entertained and guessing with some new sensations. Thank you for keeping the beat meter on the screen the whole time. I dislike the videos that pop up the beat meter ON the first beat so you can't see it coming.

Something that I see has been a point of contention on your videos is the "aggressiveness" of your beat track. While it is true that you can't please everybody, rest assured that there are plenty of people like me who appreciate your videos FOR the beat track. I enjoy the constant beats with few breaks, the repeated ramp ups, the quick changing and complex beats, and mostly the unforgiving feeling of relentlessness. I think your existing beat tracks are perfect and I hope you won't start watering them down in the future.

My one complaint, and it is super minor, is simply that the higher pitched tick sound you use for the beat track can be a little distracting. I prefer the bass kick beat tracks to feel more like it blends in with the music. But it's totally worth it for all the positives of your videos.
