This is an amazing project! I also wanted to encourage you to go on! I loved it so far. There is indeed so much potential! Especially thinking about stuff like http://www.fenoxo.com/ (which I didnt know so far).
Dont want to come up with ideas cause I think your work is hard enough right now without thousands of ideas of what might be possible way down the road. So just wanted to let you know that there is one more follower!

I don't comment much, and I meant to on this yesterday. I had a long one typed out, but I forgot about it before it was finished and ended up closing the window.
To sum up. I love Fleshcaster, the story base tease, the characters, and really appreciate the obvious amount of hard work you've put into this. I hope it continues.

I had to take an extended long break from all of this as life got in the way. Since then and now, I have lost everything of this project. However it remains a burning hole in my mind, and I have started the rewrite. I wonder though, does anyone else perhaps still have a copy of my old work?

I had been working on the rewrite for a couple of days now. Started off with downloading a few other teases to get back up to speed on common scripting procedures for GuideMe. Now that I do have the old copy and seeing the differences in how everything is coded, I am kind of glad on the rewrite. Things had changed so much that if I started off with the old code I would have been too frustrated. Instead, getting a fresh start on this and converting pieces of the old into the new, the code is far cleaner and easier to manage!
It looks like quite a bit got lost still, I must have never published the very last version I had which had quite a bit more story line. But now I started a rewrite, got a few more bits of stories the old never had. Most of the old I will still be able to keep, but some things I think are going to get changed around a little. Also this time I got an editor to work with, so I will not be sitting on the only development copy. Nose to the grind stone, will see what I come up with over the next week.

Fleshcaster (or more aptly by its actual name) Fleshcraft 2.0, is in the works. I have been gone a long time, or at least lurking in the shadows, but all this time the story for this has always been burning in the back of my mind. Some where in the multiverse between the Dreamscape of Neil Gaiman and M.H. Hydra's H-Space lies the College for the Sexual Arts of Magic.
Not sure how much longer until it is complete enough to have a good preview as before, but it is coming along:
- Having an Editor for an assistant is AWESOME! Even better since she has tits! Going to get a bit more femininity out of the character dialogue.
- Slight change to the format. The original concept was to make an RPG. As I was constructing the RPG I ended up needing filler stories to flesh out the skill sets. Since then, these stories have taken on a life of their own. As such this is turning out to me more of a visual novel with some RPG elements in it.
- Keeping the majority of the characters, though a few changes came along that just seemed to add more to the depth of the story.
- Primary NPC story arcs. Sadly, the copy I got from Trusfrated did not include my old work on this. I did not get very far last time though, so not a huge loss. These are the stories that have burning in my mind this whole time. So mostly focusing on the seed arcs for the major characters.
- Changing up the skill system a bit. I am simplifying it more, making the programming easier. Kind of like how d3vi0n is using in Pilgrim Quest. Very similar to Custom Tease Instructor, though I'm not using cards. Just that kind of rule set that adjusts the slideshow timer, metronome rate, ect.
- Changes to skill sets meant to also change some of the classroom story lines. Most of the old I am keeping, with a few tweaks.
- Got the skeletal work of a very basic combat system up and running. Very similar to your typical rats found in MMO's. For now I though only have one single NPC as I still need to flesh out more of the player combat skills. The combat system is going to be a little bit tricky, as each class of monster kind of needs its very own combat engine. However the NPC monsters will be random and repeatable. They are template driven, so very copy pasta, and then edit the unique banter for different personalities.
