[Beginner Feedback] CH theme/plot suggestions

Post by BangingBoltOns »

Hello everyone,

I am trying to create my first cock hero, and would appreciate some feedback regarding the theme or any insights on cock hero story arcs in general. I have basic knowledge of video editing software, such as adobe premiere, but I lack the ability to create some of the more advanced techniques, like beat meters or more elaborate cut scenes. Also, I am open to potentially making this project a collaborative effort due to the ambitious nature of the project and my limited knowledge in this, but I'm definitely willing to learn and put in the effort as well!

Hopefully this theme isn't too overplayed, but my idea/plot is basically a futuristic/space-themed cock hero with dystopian elements, similar to 1984/Blade Runner, where artificial intelligence and gene editing is on the verge of creating a perfect simulation of the most beautiful women in the world and able to be programmed into any fantasy or form that the user desires. This society has evolved past the need for real human beings and mandates will soon require people to be strapped into this new technology in order to harness their semen. I was thinking an introduction similar to this will be displayed through a star wars style rolling text scene.

The player will the guinea pig selected in the initial trial run of this new technology, and that scene will be something like a cut scene of swallowing a pill and entering into the matrix. As the player progresses, I imagine the transition of each level of the cock hero will be similar to a video game loading screen themed towards certain fantasies, such as schoolgirls or on a beach. Then, midway through or towards the end of the cock hero, the climax of the movie be a reactor meltdown warning scene where cumming is the only way to shut down the system. The simulation will start to glitch out splicing in between different cumshot compilation scenes.

I was thinking the ending of the movie could be a choose your own story type of conclusion where if you cum the player is transported back into the simulation and forced to replay the entire movie again and again. If they win, there will a door and behind it is the girl of your dreams and the cliffhanger will be the player deciding to either turn around and stay in simulation or break free into the world with maybe a final credit bonus scene.

Currently, I'm in the process of compiling clips that I want featured in this movie. Personally, I'm addicted to big fake tits, so the selection of girls will be based around that. However, I'd like to gauge how much of a turn-off that might be to some and can try to adjust accordingly. Secondly, I have some concerns about the legality of copyrighted material as most of my content is coming from paid/membership-based sources and I'd like it to be viewable on as many platforms as possible. Lastly, I wanted to know what people think about the video transitions previously mentioned and whether or not it would be feasible for someone with relatively basic/intermediate knowledge of video editing to create without being too time-consuming.

I am relatively new to this forum and this is my first thread. Sorry in advance if this thread is misplaced. Any feedback at all is appreciated and thank you very much for taking the time to read through all this.

TLDR: New user here trying to create Cock Hero with big tits and space/future theme and looking for feedback

For ideas, I think you should go with whatever turns you on. :) Otherwise you'll burn out on it, most likely. Expect it to take more time than you think.

And for beatmeters, I'd suggested using the Beatmeter Generator program (Java based). It makes it really easy to make beatmeters, and exports to a series of images that you can easily import into Premiere. That's what I use. Just make sure that the frames per second match between your project and the Beatmeter Generator settings. Very customizable too.
My latest Cock Hero is Sweet Mammaries, a Cock Hero Quickie.

I've also made 4-play, 4-play 2, Getting Down With The Thiccness, Fuck Hard Cum Harder, Filthy Cute and Kittens & Cream. You can stream them all on SpankBang or search up their announce threads here for other options. :)

True, I'll keep that in mind, and thanks for the beat meter tip. I guess my reasoning was to make a CH that is going to be enjoyed by as many as possible, but I agree comprising too much might get draining. I think having a good outline and realistic expectations of how to create the video should me help reduce burnout.

As far as time frame, I'm still debating about whether focusing on a time-intensive project would be better than going for a multi-part format that can be released as I go.

Welcome to Milovana, BangingBoltOns.

It's a cool concept that you are thinking about. Perhaps drawing futuristic images in Photoshop and using them in your production transitions might help immerse the viewers in your universe. About bolted-on  , I see them on a regular basis, but I don't think they are featured in a whole production, so if you like it, go for it. There's certainely a market for it, and you'll enjoy your creation task more this way. About copyrighted material, most creators face it some day, their hard work being taken down. Some studios are more agressive (i.e. fast) to request takedowns, for example, Lansky, so having several places helps the longevity (streaming like Pornhub, filehosts like Mega and torrents). If you plan to have interactive play paths (multiple jump points in your video file), we are a few programmers working on a software solution for that.

Good luck!

If your video is too fat, there's a solution!
Spoiler: show
The generated output of your video editor may be bloated, too big for not any significant benefit. One thing you can do is use HANDBRAKE with the H.264 (x264), RF18 Constant Quality and Web Optimized / Fast Start options, all other options by default. You'd be surprised how smaller the video becomes, without any impact to the quality.

Thanks for the support. I like the idea of drafting some concept images in photoshop. Also, that kind of program sounds awesome, would love to try that out.

I really like your concept. I'm all in when it comes to a video that pulls you in and holds you there. I'm also new and thinking of a concept similar to yours yet with more of a twist towards repairing the past. A Scott Bakula/Quantum Leap feel to it. Tying in Music of the different eras. But anyway, I wish you all the luck in the world. Looking forward to seeing your creation :w00t: !!

Do you have aftereffects? pl3b, a member of our ecosystem, has made a script that can turn a .wav file into a beat meter from pre-created graphics.

I love the idea you have, it is a theme that a few of us have thought about before.

As for the ideas for the video, you have to be careful with such niche concept due to two reasons:

1. Not everyone is going to like it. That ultimately comes down to how open you are to critique and potentially lower interest in the video. If you want to make it a collaboration, some may not be interested because of the general concept.

2. Niche story idea will require niche source materials / artwork. With the scene videos, the only real solution is to add some kind of "separation" into the story which you did (viewer goes into hypnosis / is possessed / whatever) so that you can create themed rounds. However there's still the in-between part for which you either a. create your own artwork (that depends on how good you are with it but it will at least be consistent) or b. try to get it online somewhere (at which point you risk it all looking like a bunch of unrelated graphics glued together with some storyline text).

All I'm trying to say is that the idea is good, but it may be hard to execute. As with most projects (not only video projects) it's easy to overshoot / overestimate and never reach the actual goal of releasing the end result. There's a reason why personally I never did anything story-based, even after having created 4 full-length CHs (plus two shorts). The closest I got was Madness 2 which was about challenges but still no story and even doing that part was a noticable time being spent in addition to the general editing.

As for the technical part - man.. I think I'm finally going to make a video about how to make beatmeter from scratch. Some form of full guide from the very start where all you have is the song, through adding beats and making sure they're in-sync with the music, all the way to creating a visual beatmeter.

As mentioned already by fragrantEmulsion above, I did create a script for AfterEffects that does the last part (you supply the audio file with only beats and it's going to create a beatmeter). It can be found here, including a video tutorial of how to use it: viewtopic.php?t=19984. The tutorial doesn't explain how to get the beats in the first place, but considering I'm currently talking on and off with FOUR people simultaneously through PMs here and on Pornhub about this exact thing, plus there's questions about beatmeters popping up here and there all the time, I'm more and more leaning towards just creating a video guide. I'd like to get to the point where people release CHs with consistent beatmeters where beats are always in sync with the music and the beat patterns are actually doable.

Hi There. Nice Thread

First of, I'm a big fan of the sci-fi. Secondly, story mode cock-heroes are really difficult to make well.
I have at least a handful of projects (including a sci-fi themed one) that got scrapped 20% in, because the pieces just did not fit together.

One big reason, as others have pointed out, is that the artwork needs to make everything work together and match seamlessly. And to be honest, the visuals are the easy part IMO. Making audio and music blend in, and not break immersion is very difficult. I would definitely recommend that you start out making a short demo before you take on a full project.

For beat-meter, I can recommend using kerkersklave Beatmeter Generator. It is the best method I have found so far (for DaVinci Resolve)

Some comments about the story you proposed. Remember that we are talking about a porn plot here. If the plot gets too long and convoluted, people will more than likely just skip to the action. If the story mode cannot be told while the player is stroking or otherwise engaged, but have to rely on long breaks and intermissions, it can be a real detriment to the immersion. And while I cannot speak for everyone, for me Immersion plays a big part of the experience, and if immersion is broken, I more often than not lose interest and just stop the video.

Some general Immersion breakers / Turn-offs for me.
  • Out of sync beat meter (number one by far)
  • Too many visuals, and visuals that block the content
  • Too complicated beats (a dubstep beat pattern is often a bad idea)
  • Too many vocals in the music.
  • Walls of text in the middle of the video.
  • Niche fetishes in the middle of an otherwise "normal" cock-hero (If you want some niche stuff, you should put a sample within the first minute so we know what to expect)
Good Luck

Hey BangingBoltOns!

I love your idea for this Cock Hero. There's a lot you can do with it. Especially with the underlaying greed, a build up with girls that are getting more and more perfect, music that adds to the futuristic theme (either electronic or 'noir-y' music (or both), with that Blade Runner theme), and breaks between the rounds that show off the world you're diving into.

As some above me pointed out: I wouldn't over complicate the story. Not only are story based Cock Heros hard to make, but it's easy to add more and more elements that aren't needed. "AI creating perfect women/people, which eliminates the need for human beings and you trying to stop the machine from making those women" sounds like a great story, so no need to add more to it :-D

And as this is your first Cock Hero: take your time. There is no deadline, so no need to pressure yourself too hard. It's a long process, but once done right, it REALLY pays off!! It's crucial to get certain things right (like perfectly matching the audio, visuals and beats), so no need for rushing.

As for people not saying there is no demand/it is a niche. So what? The most important aspect is that YOU like it. And if it's good, people will wanna see it and maybe start seeing that it may be their niche as well ;)
