So far my little experiment with imagefap has worked. So you can post thumbnail links using imagefap’s built in gallery sharing tool. It’s no ideal for this game exactly, but it’s better than nothing if you need to use an image set from there.

So, Noah has made some good points in his post. It’s a frustration for me as well seeing how lopsided some of the sets created vs received numbers can get. Ideally, everyone playing would contribute about as much as they receive and we would all have lots to play with.
I’ve considered bringing in more strict rules to push this, but there are a few reasons I have not:
1. This game was still originally edgeegooner’s idea, and he wanted the game to be open to anyone willing to play.
2. There are sometimes people who just enjoy making sets and taking the controlling role vs the more submissive, player one.
The last time this concern came up is when I started tracking sets created vs sets received. That was meant to add a more helpful metric to judge who you would like to most write a set for. I do order the list by date, mostly for my own sanity. But the order isn’t meant to be a strict priority; you can make a set for any player you wish, not just those who have been waiting the longest.
Personally, I try to use a mix of both date and contributions when I am deciding who to write a set for, but I definitely do prioritize those of you who are contributing more compared to what you receive.
For new players joining, I do try to post a reminder to them to post a ‘buy-in’ set at the very least, but with me posting less regularly lately I am missing these reminders a lot.
In the end, it’s entirely up to all of you who you want to create sets for and how this game flows is pretty much up to all of you. But, the more people who don’t contribute as much as they get, the more the game will slow down and suffer for everyone. So please, please contribute sets if you can.
Now, some potential ideas I can use to help nudge things along without distorting the vision of the game too much:
1. Not add new players to the list until they post a set for someone else.
2. Re-format the activity listing to Name – Last Post/Waiting Since – Sets Created/Received
3. I’m open to any other suggestions here.
I won’t make any of these changes until I get some feedback from all of you to see if you think anything here is a good idea.
