Can we talk about europop?

Post by enbycactuscutie »

Europop/dance/beat is the superior CH/ JOI challenge music. The way its drums, melody, bass, etc are constructed make it perfect. am I wrong? what other genre come close or fit about as right?

kennethgibson, do you have specific example of this music to share?

If your video is too fat, there's a solution!
Spoiler: show
The generated output of your video editor may be bloated, too big for not any significant benefit. One thing you can do is use HANDBRAKE with the H.264 (x264), RF18 Constant Quality and Web Optimized / Fast Start options, all other options by default. You'd be surprised how smaller the video becomes, without any impact to the quality.

Interesting for further details about the process.

I think a lot of electronic music subgenres work well or have the potential to. Drum & bass, trance, synthwave, dubstep off the top of my head.

I mainly use Hands Up or songs mixed to a Hands Up BPM (around 140-150 BPM) in mine. I think you can make most EDM work though, given the steady beats and easy timing. It can be a challenge sometimes to find songs with enough other stuff going on in them to help make the beats interesting though. :)
My latest Cock Hero is Sweet Mammaries, a Cock Hero Quickie.

I've also made 4-play, 4-play 2, Getting Down With The Thiccness, Fuck Hard Cum Harder, Filthy Cute and Kittens & Cream. You can stream them all on SpankBang or search up their announce threads here for other options. :)

Oh man. If the music is like carameldansen or the venga bus then there is absolutely no way I’m watching it, no matter how good the footage and editing. Many otherwise good CHs are ruined by trashy music.

CH Crescendo and Descent set the standard for how to choose good music.

There are many other examples of CH that use good music from widely varying genres. No genre is always best, it just needs to sound good and match the mood. But one general rule is to avoid male vocals.

It depends on the sort of mood you wish to convey. If I were making an ultra hardcore Cock Hero, I'd use music that sounded aggressive or energetic. If I were making a cozy softcore Cock Hero, I'd use music that provided a soothing atmosphere and relaxing timbres.

While EDM is the status quo for Cock Heros, I believe that any song in 4/4 time could work convincingly enough, provided that the song works well with the context of the visuals. There were a few CHs, in recent memory, which strayed from this status quo and managed to deliver an excellent experience.

Nowadays, I tend to not really think about the music when I play a CH. However, when a creator chooses music that perfectly suits the imagery, I really appreciate and laud it. When that harmonious synchronization exists, it brings the entire production to a grander level.

I remember when I first started out playing CHs, I played with the sound muted.  I don't do that anymore, though.

I second this. If vocals are going to be present, I prefer them to be female.

I just checked these bands out...I have to agree. Might have a great tempo for some rounds, the music is a complete turn off to me personally. But this is totally a personal preference thing.

Yeah, I like a mix of genre's, nothing too hard (e.g. CH videos with heavy metal) unless it erotically ties into the round. I recall some CH videos that are more like disjointed video cuts overlayed with whatever the editor was listening to at the time.
