Don't click any links in the forums!

Post by dark »

Hi all,

we get attacks by some or one kiddie(s) who try to fool you with "bad" links. They could include trojans or viruses. Today i deleted more than 30 links. Until we have fixed the problem i ask you to not use any links offered in our forum!

It was clear that anytime will come an intollerant person who try to attack our site and our sexuality. There is so much stupidity and ignorance in this world. We do our best to solve the problem.

I can't get into details, because I don't want the spammers to find out our strategy in the unlikely case that they are actually reading this forum.

We have finally found a few tricks to gain some leverage against them, but we can never completely ban them. Usually being a hard and annoying target is enough though. So let's hope for the best.

Program to help with the virus

Post by addictlion »

If you clicked on any of the fake disease ridden posts like I did. I found a program called eraser which will allow you to erase any program or file or drive to DOD standards. I do not have a link, sorry. If you do a search for it however, it should let you delete the trojan that came from the spam posts.

You don't need to erase a trojan to DOD standards. If it really just lived in a single file (which is almost never the case), simply deleting it normally will do the trick. And if not, you need to use Antivirus software to remove it.

As a general tip: 99% of these trojans can only infect your computer through Internet Explorer. If you use (and regularly update) Firefox, you're a lot safer. I've clicked all links posted so far and I'm still completely clean.
