This confused me as well. All it says in Noah's step-by-step instructions is "a key... posted by the former player," which seems ambiguous to me. At first, I was under the impression that you could choose any post in the thread. reezus' answer seems more logical, but it'd be nice to have it directly stated in the rules.

If all goes well, I hope to be joining this game for the first time later on today. Wish me luck!

Right, time for me to jump in here. Going to play on normal difficulty with a couple additional rules I want to stick to - no buying onto the roof and needing to ruin will send me to the basement. Also always edges instead of strokes for keys.

I can't really commit to the whole month for sure, so sadly no pool party for me. I might check in the teases just for fun though.
