Cock Hero and Fleshlight Launch

Has anyone tried the Fleshlight Launch? If you don't know what it is, it's basically a "robot" that controls a sextoy and does the job for you. The computer/phone can vary the speed and position of the fleshlight to match a video (which can be VR). I can't imagine how terrific it could be if we can find a way to make it work with our cock hero vids...

One guy seems to have found a way to control the Launch (like with reverse engineering...) so maybe we've got something to investigate here... what do you think??

Hey! Guy that found the way to control the launch here.

So right now there's at least 3-4 of us working on different solutions for controlling the launch and other toys, which will be released "when they're done", but hopefully also "soon". :)

I personally am working on a C# program that'll allow control of the Launch from Windows 10 (then moving to android/iphone via Xamarin after maybe), and I already have a javascript control script that works on Chrome on Mac/Linux/Android. Others are working on things like a Go version that works on Mac/Linux, and Swift version for native iOS apps, etc. If you're a developer that's interested in helping out, I run a slack instance and am happy to send invites, just private message me here. :)

In terms of getting it to work with cock hero videos, there are already some CH videos encoded over at http://realtouchscripts.com. Since we've got control working, we're now trying to figure out how to translate movie encodings between toys, so that, for instance, RealTouch encodings will work with the launch. That'll open up a ton of already encoded content.

It goes over basic usage, some of the issues with it, and even what the insides look like if you care about that sort of thing.

Generally, I think it's a decent device, though not as well engineered as the RealTouch (I have 2 of those myself :) ). Right now the default software that you use with it also isn't great, but that's why we're writing our own.

BTW, if you have new in box RTs and need cash, those things go for $$$$ on ebay now. The software I'm writing over at http://buttplug.io will support realtouch though (the protocol was open sourced before they got sued out of existence, and I have a special place in my heart for that toy, so well engineered in some ways :D ), so it might be worth keeping around too. :)

Is the beat-meter still needed at that point? Another activity to add, GROUP COMPETITION for those who want that. It's basically a guitar-hero style scrolling bar (usually horizontally) that gives you a visual indicator when to "beat" it.

Coincidentially, I started working on a CockHero - based controller for the launch two days ago (so that would be point 4 and 5 I guess).

Right now I have the following components (all pre-alpha of course):

• Service that control the Launch via Bluetooth
• Video-analyzer that extracts the timestamps of beats from existing videos (beatbar)
• Test-Bench Video Player to put above mentied functionality together

Technical rant:
The launch is not fast enought to stroke full length at full speed, but that's totally fine, shorter strokes for faster beats should do the trick - I only have to figure out if the launch gets slower when it's actually in use. Bluetooth LE in .Net is a Nightmare (only works in WinRT and there you can't use any regular IPC, not even simple TCP because of Network Isolation)

We've got some initial data on stroke speed during full length thrusts, I'll try to figure out a way to get that published for you. Right now we're mostly concentrating on Kiiroo -> Launch emulation just because there's so much stuff that already supports Kiiroo. One of the people I'm working with did a rundown of the algorithm Kiiroo uses for translating that:

Patching out the registry makes things work fine though, as long as your patch matches your executable name. Check out the .reg file in the buttplug-csharp directory for an example.

Hey Zoltan, it's always nice to see that, after 1 year 1/2, you still love CH Girlfriends. Like you, I like softcore and (very) slow building intensity. I prefer imagine what's underneath than revealing too soon...It helps the immersion. I think CH Girlfriends is the only CH that does not reveal a boob before 20 min (that was a bit risky, but it worked!).

Liquid, I'm happy you're here too! If you consider making a CH for a FleshLight Launch, I would say : do not use a beatmeater! A cock hero without beatmeter but working with a Launch would be insanely good (and also very hard) as we can surprise the player. With the beatmeter, we've got 2-3 s to see what's going to happen... I think it's not even necessary to follow always the beat of the music but sometimes following the actions that is on screen. Of course, your videoanalyser can be useful for the already existing CH.
If we make this work, like book_guy says, this could be the beginning of the end of the humanity
