Reward Rounds - essential?

Ok, I have a question, and I would like to get an opinion from everyone out there:

I'm almost done with the Cock Hero video that I am working on.

There is no hardcore in the video, so my original plan was to have NO REWARD ROUND ... like how all the old Cock Hero videos used to be. The final round ends, you get a "congrats" message, and the credits roll. End of video.

However, I started thinking tonight that maybe there NEEDS to be a reward round. Is a reward round something that is expected to be included in a Cock Hero video at this point? Has the reward round become an essential component?

I can give more details as it applies to the particular video that I'm creating, if it helps - but I'm curious what everybody thinks about this in general too.

Ok, let me give you my point. I'll try to be straight forward in this.
What follows is only and exclusively my opinion in this regard.

For me, a reward round -or at least a contdown to a cum order- is essential. I play CH because I want to release, because it is time to fap and enjoy, and this is an elaborate way of doing so.

Believe me when I say that I avoid any CH that has no reward or release round. I hate it.
I'm not able to just stimulate and then... oh, there is no ejaculation sorry. I don't think that could be much healthier either.

A reward round doesn't go amiss, but it has to be executed well, and I find they rarely are. If you've made a softcore-only video (and HUGE thanks to you for that, by the way), don't switch to hardcore for the reward round. I'm also not a fan of reward rounds that for some reason drop the music. The best reward rounds just feel like an extension of the rest of the video, except you get to cum. If that's the sort of reward round you're going for, I'm all for it. if not, I'm probably going to just jump back to whatever part of the video I liked the best and take that as my reward.

In general, if a CH has long enough scenes (either one scene per round, or a small number on rotation), it's relatively easy to jump back to whichever scene was hottest. If that describes your CH, I wouldn't personally consider the reward round to be essential.

One of the best pieces of advise I ever got was that In the grand scheme of things though, make the video that YOU wanna make, feedback is a great way to improve should you wanna make more in the future, but you should make the content you want, at the end of the day that's all that matters.

Totally agree. I have played videos that are great, that I am really into and then the reward round turns me off or I lose interest. Maybe they pick a girl I don't find hot, use a scene I don't like, or whatever the reason. It's a bummer when it happens. Really takes you out of the mood after you've been having such a good time with the video up to that point.

In my current project I state up front, in the "instructions" part of the video that there is no reward round - which I agree you should at the very least do for the person watching it.

That is good advice, and I have had people on here tell me that same thing too. I believe in it, and I have made the video the way I want, etc. But I also feel like I am not just making this video for me, so I ask questions and ask for feedback.

The beta testers really helped me out and told me A LOT of good stuff too, so now I feel like I am trying to make a good a video as I can. I believe what I've got finished is good, and I'm open to doing what it takes to polish it and make it better. That's my goal at this point.
