College Tease Toy #2

Hi,

I'm just starting up this thread to announce and get some feedback on my new tease. Hopefully people will enjoy it. As you'll see, it's another quiz-themed tease. This time I've used an external site for all the quiz questions and just kept the tease in the basic format instead of flash. So it will involve opening some extra windows and manually skipping around from one page of the tease to another.

I'll be interested to see how people react to the difficulty of the quiz questions. When I tried them without any concurrent teasing, they didn't seem super hard. When I went back and tried them with the teasing, they were quite a bit more challenging, but still possible. I don't think anyone following the instructions will find the tease to be easy, but who knows.

Anyway, try it, enjoy it, and let me know whatever feedback you have!

tease wasn't really that easy... but it was damn good to be honest lol... which now I remember why it is, I was in special ed math my whole school career xD

Thanks for the feedback. Awhile back, cumhardy posted a tease with a "math quiz" theme (http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showflash.php?id=3395) and I was surprised at how well it worked. But, I thought that one was way too easy. This one was intended to be a lot more challenging.

Sorry that my tease was a bit confusing to follow as it made you open up more windows, change a bunch of settings, jump from page to page, etc. I guess that complexity is probably why the tease is getting a relatively low number of votes per view. On the plus side, the people who do stick with it until the end seem to be enjoying it. Or, maybe people just quit when they see that there's math problems in there. Who knows.

Anyway, I think that quiz site has a ton of possibilities for future teases. They have some much, much harder questions on there too. Take a look at the level 3 questions on rivers in Asia, for example.

As many here may already know I'm not one paying much attention to the teases, since I personally don't get something out of them.

Nevertheless last night this thread put my attention to this particular tease so I read it through. Have to say I really appreciate it's idea. The predicament the teased person is put into, is something I like to do myself, when teasing someone.

So eteased, you wrote the first tease I have read completely for ages

I loved the idea and the tease itself. Really well written and done.

But (yeah there is always a but) it's too short for my taste. It felt like i just got warmed up, and then it was over already. But then I am an endurance type of guy :)

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the tease, Arianna. Feel free to reuse the idea however you'd like.

Thanks for the feedback Tobias23. I'm usually reluctant to make the teases too long; I'm not sure how long people are willing to spend on one. Maybe next time I'll give the user the option to make each quiz longer (e.g, 20 questions instead of 10) or something like that.

BRILLIANT IDEA!!!

This reminds me of that scene in (I think) 'Swordfish' where the hacker (Hugh Jackman) is told to crack some uber-secret code on his laptop in under 60 seconds ... while he's being blown by a hot woman.

Stuff like this is, imho, WAY hot, because the challenge is to be able to think clearly while your body betrays you repeatedly. Sure, you can focus on the task at hand, but then you get distracted by something you see/hear/sense inthe audio/video, which only makes the task at hand (no pun!) more difficult. Then you try to refocus and get part of the way through your task, only to be distracted again. A purely devious and evil-as-hell concept!

Congrats on a fantastic tease and a wonderfully-devious idea!

I have the same opinion than "wonderbo" and many other people here, too.
It is a great idea to combine a 'usual' tease with a math quiz. Thats a new and very good idea, which gave the webtease a new character. I love it - although i am not really good in math.
Thinking/ calculating and teasing and the same time (or one after the other) is so difficult, but exciting.
I think it is one of the best teases here and I hope there will be many other teases like that in the future, too.

got to add my thanks for this tease. i found it challenging and definately distracting (those who complete it will know what i mean)

tried to do it all in my head (sore balls and backside) before i realised what the pen and paper was for - wen it was too late.

couldn't concentrate cos i was too busy trying not to cum. going to try again tomorrow...

Wow, thanks for all the kind words. I'm glad people are enjoying the tease. Seems like the math quiz was a good balance of teasing and distraction without being too tedious, which is just what I was hoping for.

susanrhodes, that's funny about the pen & paper. I forgot to mention them after the first page because I was trying to the math all in my head. But the idea was that you could use them if you wanted to.

I guess people will be pleased to know that I've already got some ideas in mind for a part 3. Probably it'll have some more math problems, plus possibly some other ideas. I have no idea when it'll get done, though. I have this problem where I get an idea for a tease, then I want to make it really long and complex, then it gets overwhelming, and then I never finish it. So, hopefully I'll be able to focus and get something done and posted, say, next month.

Anyway, thanks for all of the encouragement. Honestly, if people didn't post feedback here, I probably wouldn't put the time into making a part 3. That being said, I especially like it when people make suggestions. I can't promise that I'll use them, but I will always at least consider them.
