It's a new series, your basic swords and sorcery tale with some Destined Warrior who's going to save everyone. Anyway in the last episode he is captured and Trained by the Mordsith. Evil Preistesses, that quite resemble a brutal Dominatrix.
You can watch the latest episode here: www.legendoftheseeker.com, then go to the Videos page. Episode titled Deena.
Just figured I'd share cause I think a lot of the users here would appreciate this episode. Actually quite a bit of D/S undertones in the series as one of the Seekers protectors is a "Confessor" A beautiful woman with the power to make a person confess thier sins to her and after which they become her willing slave wanting to do anything she says...
Enjoy.

Re: Legend of the Seeker
It's based on the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. The first book is "Wizard's First Rule" and the entire series is fantastic. I highly recommend picking it up if you're looking for a good fantasy series.

Re: Legend of the Seeker
From what I've read on the net Fans of the books are pretty ticked, as it deviates from the book/s to a large extent.
Of course that always seems par for the course.

I started watching this show but couldn't get past the awful dialogue.

Re: Legend of the Seeker
The show is average, its the kind of shown that you watch if your really bored and nothing else is on. It has very little to do with the books. As for the books, if you plan on reading it read 1,2,3 and maybe 4. The other ones are absolutely TERRIBLE. Basically its the same type of thing over and over again and MY GOD does the authors SLOW EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL detail of explaining everything make you want to hammer your head in. In the first books this was ok since you were getting to know the characters but now in the later ones not only is he ignoring the "Show don't tell" rule but he must think we have no memory whatsoever as he gives a summary of all the previous events in the new book. Then to make matters worse the main character is ALWAYS right about EVERYTHING and its like hes an average person living in a world of people with half a brain.
So, rant over. I just had to get it out of my system since it annoyed the hell out of me when I got to the later books.
