Eurovision!

Post by Sonamb »

Hey everyone!

So, tonight is the annual Eurovision Song Contest. For anyone who isn't aware, this is a massive multi-national music competition, featuring extravagant performances, jokes that don't quite translate, drunken musicians, cynical commentary, and some downright bizarre music. It's... very odd, and I'd recommend it to anyone who somehow hasn't seen it before!

The different countries in this contest care view it in different ways. In some countries it's (apparently) a big deal- but here in the the UK it's not taken very seriously at all. However, it is seen as an opportunity to drink heartily and make silly little bets and wagers- I suppose like the Superbowl in the USA, but with much less testosterone!

As such, I propose a game! The rules are simple. At some point tonight, post on this thread saying which country you're supporting, and why. There's a break between the songs being performed and the voting completed- this would be a good time! By the end of the night, your chosen team will have an overall ranking from 1st to 26th.

Once the contest is over, you may not cum until you've waited for a number of days equal to or greater than your team's rank.

So now you have some extra reasons to care about the voting! Feel free to add extra rules to your own preference too- both for after the show (touch=edge) and during it (slap yourself if you get given exactly 1 point). Personally, I may do some extra forfeits for anyone who picks the winner :-P

Some teams do traditionally well or badly, are tipped as favourites, and so on, just like any contest. These are easy enough to look up, and you should feel free to do so if you want to nudge the odds in your favour. I'd be supporting the UK if we didn't end up near the bottom of the rankings seemingly every year! XD

I hope this entertains you all- sorry for the relatively late post, I just had the idea this morning...

Good Idea :)
I think you should also count the points UK get in the competition, and thats the number of edges you have to do each day until you are allowed to cum :)
But normally UK dont get that much points so hopefully its just 25 :)
And if you are alone tonight you can wank to the beat of all 26 songs. An average of 3 min should be about 80 min effective wanking :)
Have a good night :)

About to start- and I'll be watching with some friends, so the latter part of that won't be an option for me XD. We'll see which country I choose to support too- I *might* pick the UK, but they do so bloody awfully every year! :-/ Not sure I'm feeling that subby/masochistic! :-P

Well, voting has begun. I don't think the UK entry was half bad- though I am a bottle of wine down XD. Not as good as last year, but still pretty good! As I seem to be the only person playing along here, I guess I'll at least fly the flag for old Blighty and support the UK. Here's hoping the voting is less political this year!... :-D

Just remember the number of edges each day is equal to the points UK got :)

Ughhhhhh... well, this hasn't really gone to plan has it... XD. That'll teach me for trying to suggest games to you lot! :P

Curse that new voting system and the false hope it brings! UK were like 3rd at one point... even just before the end we were like 13th... not 24th *>.<*.

Yeahhh, I'm not doing 62 edges per day! Even just 24 days total is a fair bit over my personal best... going to sleep now, I'll figure this out tomorrow! :\'-(
