Unfortunately with the new patch I can't get past the first time the domme says "start stroking." The side chat freezes at "Domme is typing.." when the metronome starts and the main window lets you type but the the domme doesn't respond to anything including the safe word.

Also the log doesn't show any more files being accessed after the metronome starts either.

I haven't been able to replicate this through the debugger or running it out of an installed folder. What personality are you using? Does it happen every time with every personality? Do scripts appear for the Personality you're using in the scripts tab? Are there StrokeTaunts in her Stroke folder? I'm just not sure where to start here, so the more information I can get, the better.

If anyone else is having this problem, please let me know also.

As long as I'm making a post, I forgot to highlight something else about Patch 54 so I'll go ahead and do it here:

URL Files are now set to relative paths rather than absolute paths. Because of this, you will need to set up your genre image URL File paths one more time. Sorry, I forgot to mention that

Is there an animated Gif file displayed, when this happens? This happens sometimes. But this is Gif-Related, when i resave them using PhotoShop, it's working.

With Spicy there is a miniscript for GNMChastityOn & GNMChastityOff
Inside a lot of these @ShowImage[\GNMImages\Chastity\ChastityOff\*.jpg] & @ShowImage[\GNMImages\Chastity\ChastityOn\*.jpg] are used.
The exact path inside TEASE-AI is
(The folder in which TEASE-AI is stored) --> Images --> GNMImages --> Chastity --(Splits into two)--> ChastityOff & ChastityOn.
The command should pick a random picture inside one of these folders. But instead it says that "Path doesn't exist".
Checked the path 10 times, checked for capital letters etc. It should work :)
More importantly it used to work with patch 53 :)
Is there something new I need to know about or is this a bug?

Okay, the @ShowImage[] bug should be fixed now. Here is the patch:

If you're reading this before you've downloaded Patch 54 above, or the Tease AI base program from the first page, you don't need to download and apply this patch. Previous links have already been updated with this patch.

This means a new version (0.54.0.1), so settings will need to be imported again. If you've already used patch 54, simply click the import button in General Settings and select your 0.54.0.0.user.config settings to import them. If you haven't used patch 54 yet, please follow the initial import instructions in the Patch 54 post.

When importing for the first time, make sure you're importing your user.config from the Local AppData folder, as opposed to the System\Settings folder that opens by default when you click the import button.

In my case on Windows 7, the correct folder is [Whatever your username is] -> AppData -> Local -> Tease_AI

If you still have trouble finding this folder, you can click the Start button, and in the run box right above it you can type in "%LocalAppData%\Tease_AI" without the quotes and hit enter. This will take you to the correct folder so you can see where to navigate to.

Once in that folder, you'll see some other folders named Tease_AI.exe_(and a bunch of random letters). You need to look inside those folders and find the most recently modified 1.0.0.0 folder you have. Inside there you should find your most recent user.config file. That's the file you want to import. If it helps, you can copy the location of this folder by selecting the address bar and copying the highlighted blue text. Then just paste that into the address bar of the window that pops up when you go to import.

Once you've done this the first time, you won't have to do it again. When a new patch comes out, click the Import button and you'll already be in the right folder - just select the config for the last version and you're done.

If you still can't find the correct user.config file in the AppData\Local\Tease_AI folder, as a last resort you could just put in all your settings again. Those settings will automatically be saved to [Tease AI root folder]\System\Settings, so any future importing should be much easier.

Either way, don't forget to set any genre image URL Files again if necessary.

Okay, the @ShowImage[] bug should be fixed now. Here is the patch:

At least i know now, this @ShowImage is intended for relative Paths in [Tease-Ai-Dir] only.

But if you really have to import the settings, consider this as a bug.
It has been changed in this commit. Sorry, i forgot to mention it in the commit details.

But now every time a new version is uploaded and you use the same [Tease-Ai-Dir], it will import the Settings automatically. At least this was the plan.

Tease AI 54.1 stopped responding here. The link she loaded was from Wicked Tease. The program wasn't frozen and I still could access all the menus but the domme stopped responding to all inputs, and the image she loaded was a .gif from a blog. Wasn't there an option to turn off .gifs?
Edit: Tried saving and reloading the session and while she would respond to my inputs, the script wouldn't continue.

I haven't been able tao replicate this through the debugger or running it out of an installed folder. What personality are you using? Does it happen every time with every personality? Do scripts appear for the Personality you're using in the scripts tab? Are there StrokeTaunts in her Stroke folder? I was using Wicked Tease with a lot of extra scripts, although it doesn't work with the default Wicked Tease either.
There scripts are checked in the dialogue box and there are stroke taunts in the folder.

There wasn't a gif playing.

I've looked at what the process is doing using procmon, but it's not much help. When I start by saying hello there are hundreds of lines accessing this URL:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Tease_AI\Tease_AI[..]\0.54.0.0\cunqfznk.newcfg

Which I presumed was part of how it saves the config file, the file doesn't exist when browsing to it.

The domme then asked if I liked a blog image, which works correctly. As soon as the script gets to a part where the domme would say to start stroking the sidechat says "Domme is typing.." and the metronome starts but never says the line. You can't type anything in there.

In the main chat window the domme says "start stroking" but anything you type gets ignored. In procmon it shows that the response files don't even get opened, I presume they're meant to every time the user types something. Even if you say the safeword nothing happens.

My CPU usage goes to 25%, so full on one core. With a *lot* of access to the .newcfg

To be honest it could just be lag. If the .newcfg is being constantly accessed the rest of the thread won't have any cpu cycles left to read and parse the input. The text input does lag a little after the metronome starts, it didn't before.


Also, a second bug that happens sometimes when I close the program:

It's useful for seeing what files, reg keys and network connections a process uses. Just remember to set a filter for "Process Name - contains - Tease" otherwise you end up with thousands of entries from all of Windows.

Sorry I can't provide any more help, I can't find anything else that would cause an error like this.
It's only with the latest patch that it's stopped working and I haven't changed anything in between updates.
