Tease Requests and Ideas

I figured we needed to consolidate all the request threads so people who are looking for tease ideas can just come to one place, ... or something.

edit: or something was a polite way of saying I am tired of all the individual request threads. I don't understand why people think other people are there to just do stuff for them, but we'll never be rid of them and at least this way we can consolidate them.

I'm a leech and I know it; usually I am a good leech and keep my mouth shut and ask for nothing. But I made this thread so I get to throw out the first suggestion/request:

I've acquired a bunch of toys recently. I'd like to see a tease that uses the gates of hell, or a cock harness. Or a tease that really makes use of what you can do while confined in a chastity belt - You can even orgasm in one. I can orgasm from just a vibrator and its pretty intense. I can, of course, orgasm while in the gates of hell. What I haven't managed to do is orgasm with just a vibrator while wearing the gates of hell. Use that info as you will.

You've been here a year and a half. You haven't made any teases. Why should I, or anyone, make one you request?

I don't mind you asking, but as a practical matter, requests very rarely get honored. The ones I have seen to be effective are ones that involve a picture set - "can someone make a tease from these pics..." this is because
1) the person requesting has done some of the work and
2) a hot set of pics is good inspiration for the writers.
It's possible a "tease suggestions" thread might work, if it's helpful to the writers, and I believe you suggested it in good faith, but honestly I think it's unlikely to take off.

The other thing to remember is that the best dirty mind to appeal to your situation is probably yours. If you have a thing for a particular model, or fantasy, or set of toys, you're probably better equipped to write it up than anyone else. Give it a try, you might like it!

I agree that it would be great to see a section where people choose pics and kind of work together to create the teases. I wrote one months ago, but then couldn't be bothered finding pics for it, eventually I just deleted it from my computer.

A thread where people offer sets of pics they like and ideas would be great in my mind.

As for the op, I agree, I wouldn't personally spend a couple of hours making a tease that would only suit one person which might not be in your taste anyway.

I can't speak for every writer here of course, and I'm sure we all work differently, but for me the pictures tell me the story. I just write it down. I've looked at many sets of pictures that are nice, but they don't "speak" to me. (Aside from the drool rolling down my chin. ) Then there are others that just scream out a story in my head and I've got to write them down. With a little imagination on my part to tie those images together, but the story is already there.

However, it's worth noting that naturally, the stories in my head suit my tastes and not necessarily anyone else's. I don't see a problem with someone offering general ideas for a tease, (i.e. the "school girl" suggestion I saw a few days ago) but when things start getting specific (use this toy, or do this thing) then you're on your own I'm afraid. I appreciate folks sharing ideas because they may be things I'd never have thought of, but when it comes to writing a tease around those things, my mind just isn't going to work with your fantasy unless it happens to be one of mine as well. I'm afraid a reader would be disappointed in the tease because you're not likely to get what you expected or even something you wanted from me.

If you have such specific tastes or fantasies, I'd suggest writing it yourself. You already have the plot playing a little movie in your head. Close your eyes and think about it. I know it's there. You just have to write it down. I honestly think anyone can be a story teller if they just take the time to work it out. You know the saying, practice makes perfect. In the case of stories, there's no such thing as "perfect" so don't worry about trying to achieve it. Practice will make you better, but no one will be "perfect." I'd be happy to help via PM if you like. I don't mind volunteering some time to edit and make other literary suggestions to help you flesh out your story, but I simply can't write it for you. It's your story and only you can tell it.

Teases really aren't any different than telling a story. Instead of the reader just passively picturing things in their mind, you're also actively engaging them with directions for some physical activity. Personally, I'm working on a series that I hope will do both at the same time. We'll see how it works out when I'm finished, but take a chance. Write it out. If it "works" for you, chances are there are others around here who will enjoy it too. Share those little movies in your head. At the very least you're exploring your own mind and there's nothing wrong with that.

Just wanted to elaborate on incubu said. I can come up with a story relatively easily, with or without pics, with or without any substantial input from a requester. The problem comes mostly from the toys. Personally, I've never used a gates of hell or cock harness. I at least know what the gates of hell are, but a cock harnes could be a variety of things. It would then be difficult for me to relate to your fantasy enough to write anything worth reading. When you say that you can cum from a vibrator while in the harness, does that mean it's in your backside or are you running it along your cock?

Having a set of pics not only helps the writer write, but also helps the reader enjoy the tease. If you don't have a set of pics, then you better hope the writer comes up with a set that you enjoy.

As for writing your own tease, there are two main points/pieces of advice.

1 - It doesn't matter how bad the writing is on a tease if you enjoy it. If you don't think anyone else would enjoy the tease, you don't have to publish it. You can still do the tease over and over through the editor. (Which is simple as hell to use so don't let it scare you.

2 - Just start writing. Sometimes I write pages and pages of bs before I figure out the story I really want to tell. Your main goal is to get across your idea. Let it be subtle, let it be obvious, just make sure it's in there. If you have a story written out (even if it is poorly written) your odds of recieving help with your story go way up.

Back to the original poster,
As much as I'd love to help you out, at this stage I can't. Your idea isn't so much for a story as wanting new ways to play with some toys. Since I am unfamiliar with those toys, there's nothing I can do.

There's also no reason that a thread for requests can't work. People who make requests simply must be aware that the writers may not be able to help them, may need more information from them on what they want, or the writers may be busy with their own ideas and stories.

I made this thread so that we wouldn't have separate threads for each request. I know I'm a leech and I fully expected my wishes to be ignored. It wasn't about my request and more about cutting down on useless threads. But thanks for the snarky reply!

(No really, alot of the time we are too touchy feely and treat everyone as a unique snow flake. People who come in and say "where the doms at?" need to be treated brusquely. Same goes for people who ask for a tease with a furry transvestite with scat play and extreme CBT but also an innocent school girl style.)
