The Fantasy series takes the viewer on an adventure against mythological creatures and boasts a lot of dialogue and recurring characters. Personally my favorite of the story line CHs (although I'm biased)

Champions of Cocknia pits you against a set of ordeals similar to the Labors of Hercules that you must overcome to save the kingdom. The story is only between rounds but has a lot of good editing.

Vampire is great at taking the viewer on a journey with a great antagonist and multiple endings.

Treason is on the short side but is still worth checking out if you want something a little faster paced.

All those noted are so far are good and fit your criteria. Blue Magic Challenge isn't an "adventure" per se, but it is a bit of a meta-challenge within the overall challenge of a CH production. It does have some story element to it as you have to follow one's instructions while there's a bit of subterfuge going on with another character and you're kinda stuck in the middle. It also happens to be one of the best CH's made IMO.

The one that a couple on here along with myself is working on will also be an adventure story CH. Part 1 of 3 should be done within the next month hopefully. For more info on that, the link below is the topic discussion thread of that work in progress.
