Re: Editor for first flash tease
Teaseme and Guideme are not editors, they are offline viewers.
Nyx is the official on line editor but has a few issues, it has a habit of losing pages, so if you use it you need to back the nyx code up locally so you don't lose chunks. You can then paste the code back in.
The offline editor is something I wrote when I got frustrated with the way the online editor worked.
It saves locally in the file format used for teaseme and has the option to generate nyx code that you can paste into the online editor.
You can also use any text editor (notepad++ is probably what I would use) and paste the nyx code into the online editor.

does one need codIng experience to create a flash tease?
Re: Editor for first flash tease
No, you don't really, but a little experience might help. I created one (big) tease for Teaseme, I just looked at the tutorial that came with it & figured things out from there. I did it using notepad++, just playing around with it till I got it to do what I wanted.zekirose96 wrote:does one need codIng experience to create a flash tease?
After I was done though I realized I'd done some things that made it not work with online flash teases. But, the things that didn't work would have made it a royal pain to do online.

I've only used the Nyx editor but you can use it without any coding experience at all. You can do countdown timers, buttons, etc without coding anything. All you have to do is type in the page you want that button/timer to go to. You will also need some images of course. If you want to do metronomes where you stroke to the beat you'll need some sound files for those too.zekirose96 wrote:does one need codIng experience to create a flash tease?
The only thing in Nyx that will require some coding is if you want to have random endings/branches (like either letting you cum or denying/ruining). That part is pretty easy to learn. Within maybe 1-2 hours I totally understood the concept and I'm not a programmer by any means (look up SET command in the nyx thread if you are interested in that part).
If you need any help just ask any of us and we can probably explain things.
Also there's nothing wrong with a regular old HTML tease either. Those are VERY easy to make. All it takes is the ability to write/type and a set of images. The downside is it doesn't allow timers, metronomes, randomness, etc unless you have them use dice or something.
