In your personal experience, is it better to buy sex toys in person or online, and what are some sites you would reccommend?

I find it easier to order online ... not that i really care about walking in, it's just easier :)

I'll usually go into the store if it'll save me shipping .. the stupid shipping fees and customs are outrageous ... so make sure you know where the shipping is coming from.

I ordered them online as well. It usually indicates on the box that the content is related to "Health and life style", so you shouldn't really be worried. Plus, the price difference are unbelievable.

Usually online just because it's cheaper and there is a much better selection than your typical local sex shop. It can be fun to go to a real store with your partner though.

In addition to the ones already mentioned, I've gotten some good stuff from TooTimid and Discreet Romance too. Those 2 aren't as heavy on the extreme bondage gear but they have plenty for what most people would want. Their selection of chastity devices in particular isn't great but I tend to get those directly from the people who make them anyway (who also use discreet packaging).

The biggest downside to buying stuff online is you need to pay careful attention to the size of things like dildos/strapons, buttplugs, etc. The toy you saw a pornstar use is probably going to be way too big for you or your partner unless you are already very experienced with toys.
