Been a long time since I posted on here... been busy. One of the things I have been busy doing is writing my first novel that I plan to submit to a publisher.
The book will have a very detailed collaring ceremony mixed with a handfasting ceremony and I was wondering if anyone on here had ever attended one? or knew of a good example of one I could find online? Obviously I wouldn't take it word for word, just want to get a better idea of what goes on.
I have come across several example of the two separately and have heard several people mention how wonderful and beautiful it can be to combine the two, but have yet to find any examples.
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Re: Collaring/Handfasting ceremony?
I have only been to two handfasting cerimony
one was two guys (one of which was a good friend)
the other anouther male friend and his female spouse.
from what I know, and have expierenced
It has many things similar to a wedding.
Create Sacred Space
Music
Processionals
Invokation of: God(s)/Goddess (and any other prayers)
Giving away by done parents/ given to spouse
(possibly short music piece)
Exchange of Vows
Now here is where things are individualized
Candle/ Sand Cermony/ Ring exchange (one or more binding rituals)
Possibly jumping the broom (did this at my wedding)
Then Pronouncment ( or pronouncment - then jumping broom)
Sometimes also a closing prayer/ blessing (usually before pronouncment)
Kiss
Usually Recessional Music too
