The Asset (Specimen part 2)

Greetings! As promised, I wrote a second part for "The Specimen" story, and it's called "The Asset". It's much less sexual, and is supposed to wrap up the story of the alien plant a bit. I'd say it's a bit less heavy and dark, although not completely light too, as the setting dictates certain degree of cruelty. I hope you still enjoy it .

p.s. This document features BOTH first and second parts, so if you didn't read "The Specimen" - it's here. There are no important changes to it, so if you already read it, feel safe to skip right to the second part, called "The Asset".

Just wanted to say that you did a great job. I felt it really did make for a great conclusion to the story, despite having a very different mood to the first part. I even see a little room for a spin off of sorts, with the last specimen. If one day you decide you do have more to tell, I certainly look forward to reading it

The continuation of the story is unlikely though. I feel that Alice has been through enough already and deserved a peaceful rest.

Now, what I am most interested about is how bad my writing actually is. I want to write another story, a long one, and I want it to be actually written good enough so as not to cause more literate people to face palm a lot :)
I would appreciate any feedback on that.
