Personality Traits: Boobman, Assman, Legman

I recently read the findings of a study which aimed to find common personality traits among men who would consider themselves a “boobman”, “assman” and “legman” respectively.

I consider myself a legman and what struck me was how accurate the personality traits identified by the study as being typical of men who like legs most were to my own character.

Below is a selection of the main characteristics of each category.

Legman traits
Nonaggressive
Abstinence from alcoholic beverages
Inhibition and restraint in social situations

Boobman traits
Typically masculine interests (such as sports, cars, etc.) (a “guy’s guy”)
Exhibitionism in social relations (like to be the centre of attention)
Non-nurturant

Assman traits
A need for order (neatness, organisation, orderliness)
Determined, ambitious (think business executive)
What we might think of as an “alpha male”.

It’s worth pointing out that the study is an old one (from the 1960s) and the results from it can hardly be called definitive (a sample of around only 100 men was used) but having said that I’d be interested to see how closely these traits match up for other people.

So my two-part question to the guys (or even the lesbian/bisexual girls) of Milovana is...
a) First of all if you had to limit yourself to just one of the above categories would you consider yourself a boobman, assman or legman?
b) And secondly how closely to the traits listed above match your own personality?

This is so fascinating! Would love to see more study on this. Unfortunately just one study doesnt give us as much beef as i'd like.
You could consider me an ass man. And the traits match me. But plenty of those traits match me. Its hard to define for me as well because im more of an "everything" man in actuality.

I've always considered myself a leg man, but of course I admire all three.

I am fairly shy and introverted. Calm and peaceful. And, I don't drink alcohol.

So, in my case it is spot on!

1960??? Kind of like the Kinsey reports and blood flow/sex studies..
don't think they have been retried either??
(I could be wrong about all of this)

I say we milovanin's get a goverment grant.. to do some serious sexual research..

To suggest you could ever come up with an all-knowing, concrete set of rules that allowed you to faultlessly predict personality type based on sexual preferences is of course wide of the mark. There will always be variation from individual to individual. That goes for much of psychology as a whole. But it’s not entirely implausible to suggest that you could indeed find at least a fair correlation when analysing a much bigger sample of people. I for one would love to see this study done on a much larger scale to see how strong said correlation is (if there even is any at all).

This particular study is a little flimsy to say the least – I’m well aware of that. Although the vast majority of the traits listed as being typical of legmen match me perfectly I must admit that there are traits from other categories that match me too.

I am a boob-man, meaning I love petite women with small boobs. Breasts are my focus but only A and B. But those "boobman" characteristics are way off.
