I can confirm the Edge.txt missing error (which makes no sense because I have one where it says). Error only crops up when trying to let the mistress I am edging. "I'm there" or "I'm at the edge" I did not install patch 7 at all. I went from patch 5 right to 9 and installed the updated Wicked Tease.

I can't replicate this bug, and by all logic and reason with my code as it stands now it should not be happening. Can one or both of you humor me and download the Open Beta and Wicked Tease from the first page and extract them in a new folder and see if they work when you tell her you're close?
If it does keep happening, can you tell me what the circumstances were when it happened, like
I said "close" as I was stroking but before she said to edge
I said "on the edge" after she told me to edge
etc
If either or both of you could do that it would help a lot. And if anyone else is having this problem please let me know.

Deleted everything out of my folder, and only restored the contents of my "Images" folder and installed everything like new from the main page. Started up the tease with "Hello Mistress" and continued on for a while. She responded to "I'm there" just fine the first two times, but didn't tell me to hold it. Just to stop. When she started "Avoid the Edge" I said "I'm there" and the same problem cropped up. I hit 'continue" and tried again with "I'm at the Edge" same missing file.
So I installed everything like brand new on a different drive, without restoring anything from my old folder, and started "Avoid the Edge" from the random menu, same problem when I said "I'm there"

Thank you for this, was finally able to replicate the bug and see what the problem was. It's so great to see you working hard on this, it seems like most of the bugs I've encountered are gone aside from the mentioned Edge bug.
By the way is it intended that you get a new set of daily tasks every time at the end of a session, even if you do multiple sessions in a day. Perhaps it would be a nice idea to remove the automatic send at least for the night sessions, I can imagine someone doing one just before going to bed and getting a laundry list of tasks lol

Yeah, it can stand some tweaking. Latest patch (v10) seems to work pretty well, checked briefly and haven't see any issues! Thanks for all the quick updates Also, a question or possible feature request, not that you need any more (sorry!)
I was going to ask if you can set temporary session-only flags, I'm not sure if variables can be used this way? Can variables be used across modules and cleared when you start/exit the program?
Reasons for this could be for e.g. having them use a toy and then remember that for the session only, setting/checking a flag if you want a particular module to only run once per session at most or to respond differently if ran twice in one session, etc etc. It could also be used in guessing games although you could already do that with enough @Goto commands
Also.. may be going too far into Nyx territory here but is an @Wait(x) command possible? e.g. if the domme wanted you to do something for a set time before moving on, like @Wait(30) to wait 30 seconds. There could be a line after the command that she'll say if you type something, e.g.
@Wait(30) I told you to wait

when i go to the tab moddeling and there to response click on refresh i see the response file after clicking on one of them i get this

Do you have chatlog saving enabled by any chance? If you do, would it be possible to copy and paste the last few lines of the chat log so I can see where you were when it froze?
So I do have chatlog saving enabled. I went to check the last few lines and it turns out that the program did not save the chat log for that session correctly. In fact, there are several sessions from yesterday that it didn't save correctly. In the chatlog folder is a 1KB file that is empty. Some of them were saved correctly, but others were not. Perhaps it is when it broke during the end script that it didn't save the log? I'll let you know if the error happens again using patch 10.
Also, for what it's worth, I ran a quick through with patch 10 and didn't get the edging non-response error that people are reporting.

Another strange thing happening on the next run through after some of the crashes.
She kept saying things about "Any Second now..." and about the video making it hard, even though there was no more video. And a couple of times she mentioned keep stroking in a block where I was supposed to have stopped.
