Extreem Pain

Reminded me of a book I read.

There was a man born with Cystic Fibrosis,
He was in constant pain.
When he got older he got into BSDM in an extreem way,
He would Streach out his balls
and nail them to a board.
This was still not enough
so he did an art piece in back in the 70's or 80's
(I read the book in Pennsylvania but am not sure if that's where he did his art work)
where he would create a maze
for people to walk through to see him
as he was haning tied up with ropes
completely bound
and with his testicles streched and nailed to a board. (He would stay that way for 45 minutes or more)

I tried doing a web search for him (can't remember his name)
I know he was in a book (with photos), which I believe he wrote.

I was just wondering if anyone else heard of this artist?
(PS in NO way am I suggestion any one else try this)

I never knew that was Bob Flanagan.... wow. I am a huge fan of NIN.
