Ok, so important question for you all, is anyone else having trouble loading or posting in this thread? For me it has been very slow to load and unresponsive when posting for the last 100 pages or so.

Well, for me loading up pages can take a few seconds, but that's to be expected: I have 200+ tabs open all the time. Some time back I started to leave tabs that I eventually need again open, instead of bookmarking then, since my bookmark menu was a mess already. And now I'm too lazy too actually take care of it... So Firefox eats up 1GB out of my 2GB system memory. So, yeah, Milovana is not especially slow or anything. That is, unless I reveal all those dozens of gifs under the spoiler tags at the same time. Then it gets unresponsive for a while.

And while I've already posted a batch of pictures today, adding a few random ones can't hurt.

The problem lies in some animated gifs which continue to load infinitely even though they're loaded. I know this because I monitored my network activity in Chrome's Developer Tools... I made the mistake of browsing the thread from my phone. Browsing 1 page on my phone ate up my monthly data in minutes.

I'm also noticing that the gifs are getting bigger... and bigger... in filesize, screen size, and frame rate.

A few things to note:

• Placing the images inside of the spoilers does not prevent them from loading when the page gets loaded.
• The more images on a page, the longer it will take for the page to load. ( I know.. kind of a common sense thing, but some people need reminders )
• Some people don't have high class broadband internet access. Those unlucky enough to still be on DSL, or worse, will have a terrible experience when trying to browse the thread as it's been lately.

Now, it's not my forum and I'm sure other people have other theories regarding the reason the thread is lagging so hard.

I would recommend to the powers that be.. that'd be you, Della.. to impose a new game element geared towards regulating how often gifs can be posted by the players. some sort of game penalty (fun or otherwise) for those who wish to post gifs. This way it's not a "DON'T POST GIFs" directive and puts it in the spirit of the game.

As always... just my two cents. Take it or leave it :)

Thanks FG for pointing out the problem with the gifs. As I didn't have any problems while loading or posting I was not aware of ist existance. Sorry for adding to the lags

Generally I like your idea of imposing soft restrictions on the posting of gifs. Not so much as a punishment but rather as a reminder that too many gifs could ruin the fun for other players.

So let's try gif-less in order that we can see more of you (and others) in the future

i see your point FG but i am not sure about the penalty... i will have to think about it. B and i talked bout locking the current thread and creating a part 2. the thread would still be readable but no new posts stopping the thread from loading. i don't know just throwing around ideas

Good to see you again FG! Hopefully we can get the loading issues sorted for this thread and you can come back and do a run in the game

Anyway, it's interesting that you are also using Chrome, perhaps it's a browser thing? I'm not much of an internet geek so I don't know *shrugs* anyway. PM me about it if you like. I know you have some experience about this kind of thing.

It has been 6 days since i was allowed a ruined orgasm by nettle treatment and lets just say my new target is alot rarer as in these 6 days i have been able to find only 5 targets and that is with alot of stroking to pictures. One of the most frustrating things in the game is when there is a picture that is soo very close to matching your target and yet doesnt quite. Upon starting i decided that anything that I wasnt sure about wasnt a target and plan to stick by this but I fear that this is not making it easier for me. .

Luckily when I was given my new target I was a fair way behind the end of this thread and therfore have plenty of pictures to stroke to in search of targets. I fear, however, that if I catch up with the end of the thread ,which is quite likely to happen at this rate, I may be playing this game for a while longer.

Needless to say I am feeling tremendously horny as after about a day and a half after my ruined orgasm I felt more horny that I did before and its only got worse(or better dependant on how you look at it) from there.

After stroking lying down on my bed after I stop I often find myself instinctively thrusting at the air, penis fully at attention and solid as a rock.

Tried it on my laptop, no lag with Firefox whatsoever. And based on my experiences with lags, I think FF only loads in the images I reveal, not the ones hidden by the spoiler tags. I don't know about Chrome, the only thing I use it for is to download stuff from MEGA, since FF doesn't handle that site too well.

Anyway, I'll limit the animated images (not just gifs) to one per post. That should help.

I'm not sure about making a new thread. I'm not an expert, but it would seem logical that the browser only loads up the page you're on, not the entire thread. So the problem seems to be the size of individual pages, which would remain pretty much the same with a new thread. But then again, I'm just guessing.

I miss you too!!! Been busier than a journalist in D.C. lately. Lot's happened since the last time we talked. But, I'm still alive :) .. I'm also extremely happy that your game thread has been so successful and active. Wow... I remember when it had just rounded page 500... just wow..

I'm talking with Banquo in PM discussing geeky things to not pollute the thread with too much off topic things. But I'm hoping that I can help get down to the root of the sudden choke issues plaguing some of the people browsing the thread. *crosses fingers* I hope to find a solution that doesn't involve too much effort or change.

Last night I made it about 20 more pages which left me on page 53, a third of my first hurtle, even though there was no pages with my target on it, it was a very challenging night and almost had to ruin my orgasm. I am looking forward to tonight and not looking forward to it at the same time I do realize that I did not get the worst target possible, but it is a pretty killer one for this.
