Well, you aren't supposed to edge until closer to the end of the tease. In retrospect I should have made the counting quite a bit slower.
In your case stop after 8 and pause after 8 (9 and 10 are a break for you). Try that.

That's good to hear, because then an hour seems slightly less crazy long :)
9 and 10 are really fast, so kudos to the guys who can do that pace consitently when being "very horny".

You'd be surprised, especially when combined with disciplined 'no-twitch', but yes, in general, I should have made it slower.

For "normal" people maybe, but as you said, you are catering to a specific crowd in here.
I also thought I was supposed to edge non-stop. Now I have a different perspective. I'll give it another go. But it won't help that I played this a few times already and that the voice alone makes me horny :)

Oh! No, definitely not. You are supposed to continually stop short, maybe just barely reaching an edge for #10 after many minutes. This tease (not actual tantra of course) is about a very 'difficult' kind of denial done, over and over. It's about stopping short over and over in a way that make your body strain harder and harder to get closer (only to then have to stop). When it works, it's about achieving an almost unbelievable level of frustration. One that can actually make you sweat it is so intense. Now that you know the goal (sorry for not outlining it better) I'm sure you are anxious to give it another shot (stopping after count 8 of course)I also thought I was supposed to edge non-stop.
