Its hard to describe, but softcore is often better because of lighting, color, style. Etc.

A good mix of soft and hard right from the beginning is ideal, ala FluxDance. If I know there will be no hard until 3rd or 4th round, I'm likely to skip ahead. If I have to answer only hard or soft, my answer is hard (unless I'm not going to be masturbating).

Hardcore has a sort of intense feel that softcore cannot recreate imo. Softcore is nice and can even be enough for an entire CH, but if you want it to really be over the top it needs some smartly placed hardcore scenes. I'm pretty sure you know exactly how to dose each one given the quality of your videos though.
