Putting the appropriate users on your "foe" list causes their posts to kind-of disappear. Although you can see a link to their posts in the forum index, when you click through to the post itself, the system first presents you with a warning page, that the user is on your ignore list. On that warning page you can choose to continue on to the post, or just abandon the link. That much is kind-of helpful, I think, so I thought I'd share the fact. :)
