Dear Fellow Milovanians,

I just looked and my "NDW - Choose Your Torture Mistress Game" tease has been viewed over 7,200 times. That just boggles my mind!!! I had asked for some feedback, but received very little. Since I prefer to work in NYX Flash Tease Editor, I can not get rated, but I would like to know your feedback. The only way for me to improve my creations is to find out your thoughts.

Congratulations! 7200 of course being the number of times somebody opened the tease and saw at least the first page. I wonder how many actually finished it! Also some would have opened it and come back and looked again later, maybe several times, accounting for several "views."

Some feedback...

The tease got off to a bad start for me by using a timer on the first page, which just had some text for me to read. Why not just let someone read at their own pace and then continue when they're done?
Same goes for the page where you look at the Body / Eyes / Pussy choices.

Overall, there was more waiting around than I like. And, as someone else mentioned, some of the pics are kind of nasty. I took the A-B path and had no interest in stroking myself while looking at some of those pics. Since I couldn't jump ahead to see if there was something more appealing later, I quit the tease after there were 3 unattractive pics with timers in a row.

I did like the idea behind the tease... it was interesting and has some good potential. If you'd used hotter pics and not used so many timers, I personally would've liked it a lot better. (That's not to say that timers are always bad; they do have their place in teases)

Oh, in general, if you want to get more feedback on your teases, I'd suggest always creating a "Feedback-Tease Name" topic in this forum whenever you post a tease. I think people are more likely to post feedback to an existing topic than they are to start a new thread.

I was also put off by several of the photos

I loved the concept though
and like the curtian/ game show aspects
very clever.

When you do multiple paths its easier to get a higher view count
as people look through the paths.

Hey RB,

Basically, I really did not enjoy this tease. To be perfectly blunt, I came back into it several times and made sure that I had seen all that it had to offer and never so much as had a semi-erection. I don’t intend to be mean; I’m just being honest as you asked for feedback. And, if you care to read on, I’ll tell you why I didn’t like it and how it could be better.

First, I want to agree with eteased and say the use of timers in this tease was beyond excessive and annoying, and would’ve been such even if I had loved the tease and all the models. I know timers have their place, but for me that place is when you have instructions you’re supposed to be following; specifically, stroking instructions that the reader is supposed to do for a specific amount of time. But when there’s no instructions, why can’t I hit continue when I’m done reading? Especially when I’m not even supposed to be stroking. Maybe the worst occasion of this was when the hostess said that in a moment I would be able to choose my Mistress by looking at her eyes, body, or pussy and there’s a timer for some reason. I’m sitting here thinking okay, there’s no pic to look at, no instructions to follow and I’ve seen this page long enough to read what’s on it 10 times, why am I waiting on a question mark timer? Then, after I choose, there’s another timer while she says “let’s bring them out”. Seriously, why all the waiting around? I was just really incredulous and frustrated by all the waiting during the game show intro part. I think every timer before you get in with one of the mistresses should be taken out. Then, once you get in with a mistress, the timers fall more into the situations that I am calling their proper place, but when there’s a timer on every single page, that gets old. Also, I prefer to know how long the timer is, so you know what you are in for, and if you want to follow the instructions and not cum you can pace yourself if you know what you are in for. I think if a page says get to the edge, and the next one says hold that edge, only that second one should have a timer and the one that says get to the edge could say click continue when you’re on the edge. A couple of the timers were so long I started thinking I had lost my internet connection.

The ironic thing is I bet putting all those timers in was a lot of work for you. I think maybe you were trying too hard. Don’t try to control the reader quite so much. When people come to a section of a tease that really doesn’t interest them, whether because they are just not into that particular fetish or, as others have said here, the models are unattractive, they aren’t doing the instructions or staring at the pics. They just aren’t cause they aren’t turned on and you can’t make them. But if they can click through it to get to another part in hopes the gear changes to something they like better, a lot of them will do that, but when they are waiting for question mark timers on every page, they’re just gonna leave. The only reason I didn’t was I knew I would write in this thread so I thought I should give the tease a chance and see it all.

A lot of times, I click on the obvious wrong answer in flash teases just cause I’m curious what the author did for that. So, when she asked if I was ready, I hit no and got hauled off to the punishment dungeon place. This was kind of a let down. I have never been at all into female body builders or shemales, which of course is not your fault. But after the first page didn’t just tell me to go away as many of them do, I thought there would be punishments and instructions and then come back to the beginning and be asked if I’m ready now. But it was more like a tour of fetishes I’m really not into with nothing proactive. Again, the timers in this section were totally unnecessary.

The first mistress I got was the Asian with the yellow shorts. She was very unattractive and had the ugliest pussy I ever saw. I think my dick actually crawled up inside. Then, of course, I found out why her pussy was so ugly. It’s not something I’m into, but I think somebody who was into it would tell you that you could’ve found a more attractive model to serve the purpose. I’m not going to complain about it being too short, but if somebody was going through this and really getting into it and following the instructions, they might be a bit disappointed because it wasn’t much of a tease. The only thing I can say about the other two mistresses is that I think you could’ve found a better looking girl with a thick pelt, and a more attractive over 50 woman. Also, too much with the timers. A lot of the instruction in these areas was actually pretty good. If it had been models I liked and the timers not in the way so that I could get into things, I think I would’ve enjoyed the tease situation created by your writings.

More on the positive side, I will say I certainly recognize a large amount of work that went into this and a lot of creativity on your part, even if I didn’t enjoy it. It’s a commendable effort. Again, I say I’m not being mean. If I wanted to be mean I would just say “oh man the tease was terrible, don’t write any more”. But I hope you continue to write teases and I will keep looking at them. And I don’t want to just say I didn’t like it, I want to say why I don’t like it because I think that is less rude and because you seem like you really want to know.

I think you’ll find a lot of people did not enjoy this tease, but that’s largely because it’s themes are rather esoteric. It’s not all because of the things I have pointed out that you could’ve done better, it’s subject matter. But, there is no reason, especially on this site, that anybody should demand that you stick to the mainstream. Even the “milovana mainstream” should not be some kind of structure that people expect will be followed. This is all about exploration and something different. You have chosen to explore a few things that relatively few will like, but I think you can understand that and know that your tease is just not for everybody. But, there may be people for whom this will be an introduction to some things they never really thought about before, and they will find a new thing that revs them up. Each fetish you explored is a part of a porn industry that you can go out and spend money on, which proves this tease will please some of the people, but as you were saying to ugie, you can’t please all the people. Hopefully, some of the specific things I have said about what you have done can help you please a few more of those people who subscribe to these fetishes. In that vein, I will say that I understand if you wanted the element of surprise to be an aspect of the tease, and that’s a legitimate angle for you to play, especially if you want to expand and maybe mess a little with people’s minds. But, I think maybe you should add shemale, hirsute, and mature to the tags so that those people will find your work.

Anyways, for whatever it’s worth, that’s what I think.

It is so nice to understand what others are looking for and perhaps expect out of a tease. With the responces so far I now realize I can improve my work.

For the record, the models were on the ugly side on perpose...the thought was that is was more of a punishment. I didn't use specific, shemale, hirsute, mature tags, because I felt it would give away the element of surprise. Looking back kind of dumb on my part. In my warped mind the reader is a slave to these women, and he is being punished, if I had specific tags, that could give the reader an edge as to who to choose.

As to the timers, I made a huge mistake here, I can see that now. I guess I figured the point of a flash tease was so that the participant didn't have to keep breaking the action up with a click of the spacebar or mouse. The sometimes long time is that you have many different people doing the tease and you must compensate for those who English may be their second language or just the very slow reader.

I appreciate everyone's honesty. Now I can take what I have learned and create a better tease. I realize I will not appeal to everyone, but I wouldn't mind appealling to a larger percentage.
