I prefer the videos / rounds with a theme / story to them. I also get a bit tired of beats that are fast for the sake of it. Nothing worse than watching something thats only mildly erotic and thinking "i dont find this much of a turn on but the speed at which Im going means its going to end soon".

I too get desensitized sometimes when the beats are too fast. What I do then are quick light top strokes (as in Flux ep2 round4). It's actually harder for me to last this way when the beats are super fast. But that's just me.

I do enjoy some fast beats sometimes tough. But I'm not sure I'd be as much into a CH movie that has only fast and super fast beats and no breaks. I'd try it for sure and I would probably enjoy it to some degree. But I don't think it would be my favorite kind of CH movie.

There is definitely something cool to making a video thats so hard, that you cannot complete yourself as a challenge, but I like variety and the teasing aspect of the earlier CH vids too.

Else it just becomes an arms race and the videos become faster and faster; hyper double time beats through out. That for me gets tedious and desensitising. Double time and hyper speed sections shouldn't be in every round, it makes them far less 'oh crap!' when they do appear. OTOH continually slow rounds, where the first few rounds are just single beats I end up skipping. The best CHs run the range of slow and fast beats for me within rounds, and take you on a journey that gets harder - but with some unexpected hurdles along the way. That is what I'm trying to do with the one I am making currently.

The length of the scenes is what annoys me in some CH videos.

More often I'm seeing new editors/creators making fast cuts to a different clip with every change of a beat. Sometimes as fast as I can blink. You're not giving me time to connect with the emotion/sensuality/lust of the performer, all you're doing is showing flesh that I've seen a thousand times, and that's not going to do much for me.

Sure you can edit hundreds of short 1 second cuts of one particular position, congratulations you have a giant hard drive and lots of time on your hands. Spend that talent and time to find scenes that have something real behind them and make you wish you were the one fucking the girl.

I think training yourself to fap at lightspeed for two hours is eventually going to make it seriously difficult for you to achieve orgasm during sex, so I don't like the superfast videos. I also don't think the really fast videos are very satisfying: you get used to the sensation and get numb after a while, so you can keep going with doubletime or even tripletime forever, and it doesn't build your orgasm.

I prefer the style of the slower videos like Flux Dance or Heavenly Bodies, where you're continually trying to get to or stay on the edge, rather than always keeping off it. It's more pleasurable and it builds excitement. About 130 bpm, which is the pace of most rounds in Flux Dance 1 & 2, is perfect in my opinion. Pauses/breaks are also important. Not the one minute breaks between rounds from the old Cock Hero videos, but a 5-45 second pause inside a round. Being teased while not being allowed to stroke frustrates you and makes it easier to cum from less stimulation (the Canada round from Cock Hero Nations 2 is amazingly effective). Even if you want to release by fapping at lightspeed, it will be more satisfying if you do it when you were already so built up that you could've cum from a slow stroke tempo.

Here's my 2 cents: A lot of the recent videos are going in the right direction when it comes to the limited variety of beats. Too many random beat changes takes my attention away from the porn.

I would like to see faster beats overall though, as the slow ones really kill it for me. That said, continuous fast beats just make me lose sensation without ever cumming and make it less enjoyable, you can't just lay on the double beats for 30 straight minutes. Gotta mix it up.

Faster paced songs will get the job done though.

On the flip side, when the beat gets too fast my arm gets too tired to keep the pace and it ruins the video for me. It really is a fine balance, but I've been pleased with many of the recent videos.

I refuse to switch hands when one gets tired because I don't want lube on my mouse hand.
