Hello Fellow Milovanians,
Even though I have been here since August of 2006, and am a transplant from the old O.D. days (yes I am responsible for a few of the 'Classic' teases), I have just recently dived into the Forum Threads and at some point this old dog will learn how to participate in the Chat. I am embarrassed about this question, but what do the symbols in the Forums represent? I have looked for a symbol legend, and perhaps I haven't explored enough to understand the symbols, but some are red, others are gray, some the lines are scrolling, I am confused. Help please? O.K. I get the lock for the locked forums, but understanding the symbols may guide me in how I am supposed to post replies, etc.
I suspect if I spent less time getting teased and put that time to making myself more computer literate I wouldn't have to humiliate myself with a elementary question (not that humiliation isn't great under the proper context)
Thank you,

Re: Forum Symbols?
If it's gray, there are no new posts since you've last read the thread.
If it's gray and pulsing, there are no new posts since you've last read the thread and that topic is or was considered "hot," in the fact that there's a large amount of conversation that went on or were going on within it.
If it's red, that means somebody has posted since you've last read it. You can then click the orange paper to jump to the first new post since you last read it.
If it's red and scrolling, that topic is considered "hot," in the fact that there's a large amount of conversation going on within it.
If it's in the shape of a lightbulb, it is "pinnged" or "stickyed" so it's always at the top of the forum.
If it has a lock in the icon, it has been closed and no further discussion is permitted.
If it has an arrow in the icon, it has been moved to another forum.
If there is a star in the corner, that means you've made at least one post in the thread.Hope that helps. :)
