That can happen if you are too expeditious in solving the puzzles. I wonder how many saw the alternate endings, and whether I need to increase the encounter rate.Trusfrated wrote:I completed the quest, but later I looked at the files and folders and saw there was a LOT of material I missed! I will need to try it again some time and perhaps answer some questions differently.
Thanks for the info. Changing it to .mp3 makes it not work for Windows/TeaseMe thoughCaius1 wrote:I've got a problem with this tease
For some reason it is not playing the title music. BTW I'm trying it on GuideMe (TeaseMe v2 WIP) by d3vion
First I had problems with the pictures not showing at all but somehow that problem fixed itself
Some time later: I fixed the problem by converting theme.mid to mp3 and modifying the xml ("Audio id=theme.mp3")
I don't know how to make torrents, but I'll give it a shot. There are a few tweaks I want to make first though.lighthammer wrote:Can we get a torrent for this? File size is so huge and I wanna try it out!
What do you mean? For me the .mp3 works fine with TeaseMe v0.1.4 tooBaron Hardpenis von Steele wrote: Thanks for the info. Changing it to .mp3 makes it not work for Windows/TeaseMe though
Hmm. What OS are you on? Do you have any codecs installed?Caius1 wrote:What do you mean? For me the .mp3 works fine with TeaseMe v0.1.4 too
Both teaseme and guideme user external components for sound / videoBaron Hardpenis von Steele wrote:Hmm. What OS are you on? Do you have any codecs installed?Caius1 wrote:What do you mean? For me the .mp3 works fine with TeaseMe v0.1.4 too
For me, neither .mid nor .mp3 work on GuideMe.
I use Windows 7 64bit and I have both WMP and VLC. I tried to get the midi codec for vlc at the time but I didn't really know what to downlaod so I made the file into a mp3philo wrote:Both teaseme and guideme user external components for sound / videoBaron Hardpenis von Steele wrote:Hmm. teasme uses windows media player, guideme uses vlc (as it is cross platform)

vlc does not support midi out of the box but there is a plugin that can achieve it.
as java supports midi native I will probably override using vlc for .mid and .midi files at some point for guidme
