Not at all. Random views do not affect the Most Popular list. However, it is/was affected by the fact that some of those videos were featured on the main page, homepage, direct links, position of videos in the menu and google search result lists- which sometimes feature surprising landing pages.jackstock wrote: Does this also account for the fact that a random video always loads when you go to that site?

Beside that, some webteasing are good to fetch info about how good is a "set of images" or a video, I'm wonder if someone is getting the edging times in the teasing, since is easy to do it based on the time an image is shown and the "edge button" is clicked, this will depend in the content and the jerking time, but that info is also traceable, but we can get some distribution of edging time depending on the content and the previous images.
In general I think a lot of useful information can be gather from audio, videos and users to increase the quality of the webteasing and the ch videos and use some machine learning to automatically creates new videos.
If someone is up to set up an appengine with python I can help a bit with it, I love the videos, but I also love the interactions with the teasings.

Both javascript and php/mysql versions of the streaming site have some advantages and disadvantages (I have mentioned a few above or earlier in the thread or with some of you in our conversations via pm). So I decided to try to take advantage of the best of both worlds, creating a hybrid solution.
