I used the transcoder in Vuze (the bittorrent client). It offers a bunch of preset configurations, so I just messed around until one got the videos under 500 megs. You can also force it to a specific file size, but I found that it unnecessarily reduced the aspect ratio when I did that.

Ok, Catchall I figured out some stuff. What do u suggest I select under transcode for device to turn a 3.1g file into something that will be 512mb or under and good quality?

It's usually the length of the video that winds up mattering the most, but h264 800x480 will probably work. If not, 640x360.

Same thing happened to me with my CH Ultimate video. I never got an explanation, but my guess is that it's related either to the copyrights on the clips or the music in the original CH videos.

It only happened to the video I accidentally forgot to set to private.
