(1) Open up a plain text editor (Notepad).
(2) Open your web browser.
(3) Browse the internet for the pictures you want, and copy their URL in a list on the text editor.
(4) Close your web browser.

(5) Add [img] to the beginning of each URL
(6) Add [/img] to the end of each URL

I basically do the same thing, except I do the tags first, copy and paste them several times, and then copy and paste the URL in the middle of each set.

I am not nearly as sophisticated about getting around images that don't show up. I just delete those links and move on. Maybe I will try the tool you set up freakygeak. Thanks for taking the time to set it up and share.

Wow. If you did all of them it would be over 400,000 strokes, not including any additional for edges and the videos. I wonder how long all of the videos combined are.

This game is amazing. I hope more people join, and suggest that they start at the end of the thread. A few players that all need photos will be sure to feed off of each other and post like crazy.

That's why I got very confused when each and every image showed up fine in the post preview, then when I submited the post, only four or five of them were working, and the next day none were. Is there an explanation for that other than my doing something wrong? Does the hotlink blocking gizmo sometimes take a bit to "catch on"? Even as I say that I know it's crazy but I don't know what else to think. Also, I know I have seen images on here that came from tumblr and the other day I couldn't get anything to come in from there no matter what I did. As far as I can tell, everything you say to do up until the troubleshooting is exactly what I have been doing. I wonder if I am geting the url's from the wrong place. Normaly I just copy what's in the address bar when I'm looking at the pic, but when that doesn't work I have right clicked on the image, gone to properties and copied what was there under address. Anyway, I'll keep trying trying and maybe figure it out through trial and error, or with that tool you posted. Thanks again.

What happens when you preview it (without clearing your cache) is the image is taken from your cache, so it doesn't have the chance to be denied hotlink when you are previewing. To truly test if a post will work, you have to either clear the cache of your browser, or if you have another computer... use the browser on your other computer to test if it worked. I know it sounds like a lot but once you know what to look for it's real easy. I hope this helps you out.

Aghhh... So many images. I have been stroking like crazy and still only have two edges.

It's been over 20 days... I actually went over my data plan on my phone checking the forum at work just hoping my edge trigger would come up again so I would have something to look forward to when I get home. I am going crazy here.

I'm a geek... I do Search and Replace in my text editor for http:// ---> [img]http:// and regular expression for the extension and like that... so for me it's 2 clicks to add the img tags... lol...
