Now, I'm only asking because I'm curious; plus I thought maybe you hadn't noticed this and might appreciate the feedback, but if you get a mixed bag of 3 chastity devices it says edge for me and lock it up. What was the intended duration for that lockup?

As before, that was up to Mistress's discretion. For solo play, I would recommend 3 days (3 cages, 3 days).
