I was like, just looking and saw that the FLESHFLIGHT series was on sale, so I picked one up and got water based lube and antibacterial cleaner. So I read the instructions on thoroughly cleaning and maintaining and I totally didn't get the powder...FML. Does anyone know, if that powder is really important or how often it needs to be placed on the sleeve of the fleshlight?

Anyways, so, it didn't feel like the real thing like they said it does, but it beats the fucking hand a million times that's for sure.

Yeah, the powder is important, if you don't use it, the sleeve gets tacky, and tears the inside of the lining up. On the plus side, the powder is actually just corn starch - you can get it at any grocery store. Make sure the sleeve is completely dry, dust it in the powder, and brush off the excess.

Ideally, once a month bare minimum - put it on after each use/cleaning to prolong the life of the sleeve.

I don't use it. The powder from the factory only stayed on for a few uses and each time my dick had clumps of the powder all over it, so its kind of messy and an inconvenience.

I think the only sleeves you might consider it necessary on is the clear or "ice" sleeves. Having said that, I have a 'flight instructor' and I never put powder on it. just keep the end of the sleeve out of the dirt and it should be fine. They say the clear ones need the powder because the texture makes it real tacky.

Then again, I am no expert on these things.

I think I read on their site somewhere that the powder is only supposed to go on the end..not inside the sleeve.

Yeah, that's true. Sorry I wasn't more clear - moisture causes the interior to cling at the entrance - when you dust the front/outer, it keeps the entrance pliable, and prevents friction-tears from regular use.

I find if you take the sleeve out and put it in hot water for ten minutes then dry it put it back in, add lube and enjoy. The warmth feels amazing and makes the lube work even better, fantastic!

I'm after a solo flesh next as you can fill it with warm water.
