Nyx help...

Post by signup1970 »

I've uploaded a pic. Then in the visual tab I hit new page it comes up as start#. Added text "Hello". Hit the save button and then the preview tab and nothing displays. The console:

16:30:24.833: Error: Action not found: start
16:30:24.833: Running action start...
16:30:24.832: MetaInfo loaded.
16:30:24.559: Script loaded.
Milovana FlashTease Engine ready...

Obviously missing something. Is there a help section or a "Getting Started" page for Nyx yet? Also, does anyone have about three sample pages I can throw in the Script section to play around with?

BTW: Mac/OSX/Firefox 2

Thanks.

I have pretty much the same issue. See my "Problems saving in NYX" post in the Tech Support forum.

Here are a few pages of script from one of my earlier teases that worked:

*Should* work. Try giving him a couple seconds time to save the script before switching to the Preview tab. Even better - use the "Save and Preview" button which will wait just long enough.

Nope. However, now I get a quick pop up when I open a tease saying 'Loading tease details". But, info is still not being saved. Same error from the step I described above as well.

BTW thanks for the code eteased.

signup1970, try creating a new tease from scratch and see if that works. The one that I was having trouble with still wasn't working. So I finally deleted it and created a whole new one. That new one seems to be working fine.
