Practitioners in the field of User Experience are beginning to recognize and value the "uncomfortable user experience." These experiences have been characterized by encouraging strenuous physicality, pain, presenting challenging themes, difficult decisions, and surrendering of control. Artists that create webteases have been applying these techniques and are among the good company of those in the performing arts, recreation, and gaming communities. I wanted to share this article with you to emphasize the value of the works arising from the Milovana community and the transferability of the skills that artists develop here.
