I recently found a really cheap site that sells chastity devices. Its called DHgate. Has anyone tried it before? Can I trust it? It seems almost as if its too good to be true...

Hi,

First off, to confirm, I'm not affiliated with the site.

I am a big fan of chastity since I got into it with my wife a couple of years ago and like a lot of people who are into this, you spend endless time trying to find the "perfect" device.

I must say i've spent well over £1K buying devices from places like fetishfelix and steelworkxx but guess which is the one that works for me best and I wear 24/7? yup the £30 one from this place.

I've bought three different devices from here and they have all been as advertised. Just make sure you are very clear in your messages to the seller e.g. ring size you want. The ones I have are all steel and are genuine, no rust, no sharp edges etc.

If you look at some sites that sell similar items in the west (that don't make their own), I'm convinced they just order in bulk from this place and add a big mark-up.

It's also very good if you are just starting out with chastity and don't know the exact size you need. Believe me I spent a fortune on my first one based on measurements I thought were perfect, only to find in reality it was unwearable.....at least this is a cheap way to make those mistakes.

The site may look inexpensive to you but these sellers are making these things for next to nothing in their local factories so everyone wins really.

but I did get one toy from china once....(automatic blowjob machine)... the price was good but I had to wait a long time for shipping and processing.

Let me introduce another view. Why would you buy something like a piece of molded plastic for 100+ dollars? Take Aneros or even CBXXXX series chastity belts. They are no more than a piece of good grade plastic, total cost (with production) ammounting at about 5 dollars. Chinese "fakes" have the same quality, but just don't rip of 2000-3000% interest for their awesomeness for inventing a design...

When you talk about more complicated stuff like machines - you should take more caution, but for simple things - sorry, I'm not paying 150 dollars for 50 gramms of plastic...

And let me add to it that Chinese quality nowadays goes on par with europe. They simply are not worse. If they copy something - they do it GOOD. No surprise their economy threatens USA's 1st world place.

I know that these issues are not ones many people are aware of... or think about..
there are a LOT of hidden costs... when you pay less...

feel free to buy something for 50... that costs 200 elsewhere
but there are usually reasons WHY it costs so much elsewhere
and they are not all bad... or good.

Like some1 said before Chinas quality is getting better and better, with one important rule.
Chinesses did well they homework about capitalism so in short way, they sell what they are paid for...

since few weeks im interested in services like DH since you can get a lot of cheap stuff if you are ok with 2-3weeks of waiting for bought items.

From what i found already tehre are some chinesse companies that makes pretty good mobiles/ tablets etc. about CB. im thinking about one too, the reason is price, althought im not sure if some metal devices (the realy cheap ones) are stainless so i guess ill give a try to plastic one, but it will be on one two months maybe.

If you guys are interested in buying from there, check aliexpress, which looks pretty safe (cash you paid is frozen until you give psitive feedback, after that sellers get money).

EDIT: And yeah i think CBs, especially plastic ones are extremally overpriced if you compare final price with cost of production

I don't see a point in undercutting your own prices though. I mean, isn't it unnatural to create a situation on the market when some re-seller can sell your product cheaper than your own shop, even with the added shipment cost and interest? Seems unlikely.

We talk about China manufacturers/sellers, who copy everything and dont care about original manufacturers. Price gap may come from fact that west sellers need bigger profit (life costs) and pay for marketing, Chinesse sellers don't. Off course price=quality is still right but it's hard to check it after seeing few photos, and i guess thats why this topic exists.

I was answering the post above mine, and as I understood it the guy says that manufacturers (official) may sell their merchandise to re-sellers in large quantities with big discount. And that explains why you can find cheap things that look like originals, but twice as cheap.
I still think it's just fakes that mimic everything, including the box and manual.

No it isn't. I own CB6000 that cost me around 50 dollars (150 dollars official price), and I own Aneros that cost about 45 dollars (while original costs 50 WITH DISCOUNT and 68 without it). I should say that both things came in a good quality boxes, "like official", with manuals copyrighted to official manufacruters, etc. But I can't explain such a price gap by anything except it being a fake that was made exactly like original, and then sold for cheap. The plastic quality and everything is really good too.
Also, consider that I live in Russia and shipping here from US generally adds around 20 dollars to the cost, + our shops take unprecedented interest %, so if the official manufacturers REALLY sold those devices, the price should have been around 15-20 dollars per piece, which I doubt.

I wasn't referring to CBxxxx versions on DHGate, just my own experience with the steel ones. I believe that the CBxxx is made in the US. Obviously the chinese would not import those and sell for less that would make no sense.

On the steel ones though, that are more difficult to produce I am saying that sellers outside of China will have them manufactured in China and imported (hence my point about the companies that don't make their own). Those same Chinese manufactures also advertise through DHGate for more direct sales opportunities.

The foreign companies will get them cheeper (because of bulk) than the buyers direct from DHgate but when you go to that site you don't suffer the mark up that the non-chinese sellers put on them so it still appears cheeper to us than buying in the west.

In terms of quality, as i said I've had no issues e.g. rust, sharp edges etc at all.

I'm sure there are some crazy rip-offs on DHGate (I've heard horror stories about sex dolls for example) but for chastity it's fine......in my experience.
