Why do you wear a chastity device?

This will only apply to a few of you, but I know there are some fellow chastity device wearers out there. I'm curious as to what motivates people to want to wear one? Is it voluntary, for yourself, or to satisfy the wishes of your partner? If it is of your own volition, then what does the act provide to you?

As I said, I wear one, and always liked the idea, long before I found this relationship, which is the first that I felt I could trust my desires with and open up about my feelings. I have my reasons, but shan't outline them here straight away.

I've only dabbled in the most shallow end of the chastity pool, and I don't know if I fully understand the draw of it for myself, but there are a few things that come to mind:

- I like bondage, and it is sort of like a little bit of bondage (but important bondage) that is always there.
- I like denial. Being unable to get hard is a bit different than not being allowed to touch, and a lot different than teasing and edging. I would hate to pick a favorite, but do like having options to mix things up.
- Discussions of effectiveness aside, chastity is definitely in your road if you try to orgasm, and that changes the dynamic of the willpower versus arousal conflict a bit, which can be fun.
- I guess I'm just into it. As fetishes go, it's not the most out there :)

I love the added control, I can't get hard or stroke. It's more than just I need permission to cum, now I even need permission to even get fully hard.

And secondly I like that it helps me to stay in control. It's easy to slip when I'm denied and my hard cock is right there, then I start to stroke and before I realize what I am doing, I have an accident, and then I feel bad about it.

I don't completely understand or know why ! Although from reading below, it could just be that I'm a mildly kinky bastard!

Had a CB6000 for about 3 years, now wear it about 50% of the time on a voluntary basis.

After a break, for the first 2 or 3 days of re-wearing I get a delightful little shiver of pleasure every time a blob of precum makes itself known. This'll happen 3 or 4 times a day. This soon wears off, and contrary to what I think most would then report, I experiece a drastic drop in libido for 2 or 3 days. Visually I'm still quite respectably filling the cage, but mentally it feels like a little piece of macaroni !
Things then return to 'normal', and I generally enjoy the tight snugness of confinement.
Wearing/not wearing may best be likened to wearing shoes - you know when you are and you know when you're not!

It's mostly physcological: anything short of an all-metal welded construct could be fairly easily removed with minimal tools. Need to be careful mind !
