I would suggest export it in H.264 HDTV 720p 24, 25 or 29,97 fps depending on your material. If all your material is in a higher resolution like 1080p you can go with 1080p if your material is in a lower resolution lower it, because upscaling never looks good. H.264 is a good codec its a very good quality and the file isnt to big.

The most common method for publishing your material is to put it into a torrent and seed it. I also would suggest putting it on a cloud service like google-drive so the members can stream it and take a quick look in the material before downloading it. You can also upload it to a share hoster if you want (like filecloud.io or something similar).
