I think the best sex scene I've seen in a movie is... er... The Girl Next Door? Yes, there were a lot... but I think the one in the limo after the prom was probably the key scene to the story.

The one from Bloodrayne was pretty steamy as well.

From mainstream movies, it would have to be 9 1/2 Weeks, especially the scene where she is watching the slide show of art. Still a very hot scene in my mind.

The best I've seen was from an old Harrison Ford movie. I honestly don't remember which movie because I just happened to flip to the channel at the time. It was in an office, the chick unbuttons her blouse and looking back it might have been this movie that lead me to believing that women in regular clothes can be just as sexy as women in lingerie.

A close second would be from the movie A History of Violence. The movie has two sex scenes, one playful, one dramatic, and it's the dramatic one that stands out. She's angry at him and fucks him right on the staircase. Also an awesome movie to boot.

From what i can think if right now, it's all the scenes from Basic Instinct 2.
She is ALWAYS seducing him with her body movement, and voice...... to the sex scenes themselves.
i stayed hard the whole movie.

For me, it was probably the sex scene with Demi Moore in About Last Night, mainly because that was the first real sex scene that I ever saw (when my parents went to the mall and I snuck the rented VCR tape in to see why they wouldn't let me watch). Oh, hey, here's a clip of it:

That last little bit of it where her back is all arched, her eyes closed, her mouth open.... mmmm, that's what did it for me.

Of course, classics like Wild Things and 9-1/2 weeks would be up there on my list, too. Oh, and the Harrison Ford movie referred to above is called Working Girl, I believe.

Also, honorable mentions to:
"And God Created Woman" - a bad movie that I saw at a more impressionable age. The sex scene where she has a quickie beneath/behind the bleachers was very arousing. There was also a very arousing moment later in the movie, when she & this politician guy are playing pool. They agree to make a bet on who will win the game. He asks what the stakes will be and her response, in the most suggestive voice my well under-21 ears had ever heard, was "Winner says do. Loser does." The thought of what was to come had me VERY aroused.

"Tokyo Decadence" - not sure this quite qualifies as mainstream, as it's almost a porn. But, it did play at the art house theater on campus, so I'll include it. The scene where the wealthy Japanese man's lover takes the phone and tells the main character (a submissive female) what's gonna happen (including the phrase "you will lick us where we're joined") had me extremely aroused, and the rest of the scene didn't disappoint. You don't see subtitles like that every day!

As you can tell, sometimes the anticipation of what's coming can be as arousing as the main event!

There are lot of good competitors in this category:

"History of Violence" is one of my favorites. The change from loving to violent in it's sex scenes is just wonderful and really hits me every time.

"Secretary" is also beautiful and arousing. I adore Maggie Gyllenhaal and domination/submission element is naturally a big turn on.

But for personal reasons I have to say Michael Winterbottom's "9 Songs". Of course it's arousing, the whole movie is practically about sex and rock music. And what it the personal reason to prefer this movie? I once watched it with my girlfriend and turned us so on, that we spent the whole time just having sex ourselves.

I'm not quite sure why, but I'm very partial to the rather bleak, almost fully clothed sex scene in Enemy At The Gates. Probably has something to do with it coming out when I was 14! All you see is a brief flash of Rachel Weisz's ass, but its great all the same.
